I unlock the rusty castle gate, breathing in the fresh forest air as the wind blows through my hair. I grip my bow and follow the path down to the archery, admiring the rolling hills and flowing streams. Everything is mine. The castle, the mountains, the creatures, the sky, it's all mine. I control it all. And the greatest part, nobody outside of my kingdom knows I exist. I'm not exactly sure what an average 13 old would be doing at my age, but I'm pretty sure it isn't this. And once in a while a stray traveler wanders near my territory without realizing, but never coming close to the gate. But something seems off today. The targets come into view as I pull my hair up in a bun. "Alright Y/N, let's do this." A few branches rustle from behind me but I decide to ignore it. Standing in front of the bullseye I realize, someone's following me.
I pull out an arrow and focus on the very middle. Steadying my aim, I release the arrow, hearing it flying through the air. "Bullseye," I mutter. A twig snaps behind me. Ignoring it, I quickly whip out another, my hand tightens around the bow, as all my blood rushes to my fingers. I let it fly, watching it cut through the middle of my previous arrow, cracking it in half. As the pieces of the once perfect arrow fall to the ground another branch breaks, but from above my head this time. I smirk, and turn around, clenching my bow. "You can show yourself now." Silence. "I said, reveal yourself." Still silence. I'm about to walk away, tired of waiting, when a response comes. "Who are you?" A masculine voice booms from above, as I look up. "My name is Y/N, now show yourself!" I yell upwards. I can hear a loud sigh before branches crack, a tall figure landing right in front of me. Leaves rain down as I gawk, trying to process everything. Straighting himself, he stares down at me, a glare almost as he towers above me. "My name is Technoblade, and I've come in search of allies to fight against the powers of the government." He pauses for a moment, realizing I have no idea what he's talking about, then continues. "Have you ever heard of a thing called anarchy?" He smirks. I tighten my hold on my bow, and step back. "What's in it for me?" I reply. Why does he want me, of all people! He chuckles making me step another foot back, extending his arm he continues "I will train you. You have great potential, it would be a shame if it were to go to waste! Besides, it must be lonely living out here all by yourself." Sighing, I throw my bow over my shoulder and relax. "Where are my manners, please, come in."
