~"Hey, um, can I talk to you?" Luke spoke, walking up to Ryan who leaned against her locker scrolling through her phone. Ryan looked up at Luke for a moment, debating if she should give him the time of day, but she grew curious as to what he wanted.
"You have one minute." Ryan said, putting her phone in her pocket and crossing her arms avoiding Luke's gaze.
"I'm really sorry about the things I said yesterday, and yelling at you. I just can't stand seeing you with someone else, because you're mine." Luke said, grabbing one of Ryan's hands and pressing his lips against it. "I love you." Luke said. Ryan tried her best to keep a straight face, but she couldn't help but smile. Luke placed his hands on Ryan's waist and pulled her in close.
"I forgive you." Ryan said, passionately pressing her lips against Luke's. Grayson couldn't help but watch from afar, as Luke acted like nothing happened and Ryan was too trusting and naive to realize it.
"Hey new kid." Anna called out, approaching Grayson. Grayson turned his attention away from Ryan and Luke, over to Anna who held a huge smile on her face.
"So I was wondering if, maybe you and I, could go out sometime." Anna said. Grayson had no interest in Anna at all, and he had never talked to her before today so he was taken aback at her asking.
"Um, I actually am interested in someone else." Grayson spoke, looking over at Ryan who was laughing at something Luke had said. Anna follow Grayson's eye's over to Ryan, and she rolled her eyes as she walked off.
"Hey, Anna." Ryan called out, but she just continued walking passed Luke and Ryan. Ryan grew confused, and just brushed it off.
"Heyo!" George said, jumping on Luke's back. Luke shoved George off him, and they both irrupted into a laugh.
"I think it's time bro." George said, patting Luke on the back.
"Time for what?" Ryan asked. George was grinning from ear to ear, as Luke dug into pocket and pulled out a black box. Luke knelt down on one knee, and opened the box to reveal a diamond ring.
"Oh my God." Ryan gasped, her hand finding its way over her mouth. Luke looked up at her, and smiled.
"Will you, Ryan Elizabeth Miller, take this promise ring and forever be mine?" Luke asked. Ryan stood there in shock, taking in what just happened.
"Um, I-"
"Come on Ry, say yes already." George groaned, eager for the two to be bound together forever. Ryan wasn't sure about forever though, at this moment in time.
"Ryan?" Luke called out, snapping Ryan out of her thoughts.
"Sorry I-" Ryan couldn't help but look over at Grayson. The things he had told her lingering in the back of her mind.
"Oh my God, Luke proposed!" Leila screamed, gaining the attention of the whole hallway. Ryan's face turned a dark shade of crimson, as she looked around at the forming crowd and cell phone camera's shoved in her face. Ryan looked over to where Grayson was previously standing, and saw that he was gone.
"Ryan? My knee is starting to hurt." Luke said. Ryan looked down at him and smiled, before she nodded her head.
"Is that a yes?" George asked, and Ryan nodded.
