The Truth ~ Katsuki Bakugou

Three

Street lights flicker as I walk along the sidewalk. Moonlight illuminates the world. It's quiet, only thing that can be heard is the wind and my soft footsteps.

I walk for a good while, not knowing where I am going or where I am going to end up. Up ahead I see a gas station. I approach the gas station and head inside. No one is in there except for me, the dude working the register and another costumer.

I head to the back of the gas station where the slurpee machines are. I grab a medium cup and fill it up with the coke flavor. Can't go wrong with coke. I head to the where the fridges are that store all the drinks and refrigerated items and go to grab a monster.

This is awkward, it is me and some blonde boy viewing the monsters trying to decide what flavor to get.

"Which one do you recommend? I can't choose." I asked as I yawn.

Normally I wouldn't interact with someone, especially a stranger, but I am tired and I really could not choose a flavor of monster.

"Who the hell are you talking to you damn extra!" The blonde yells at me.

I turn to face the blonde. At the same time he turns to face me.

"Wait." I say shocked.

Both of our eyes widen as we each state into eachothers colored orbs. I stare into his ruby red ones and he stares into my e/c ones.

"You're that freak from the entrance exam!" He yells at me. "Doubt you even got in!"

"I wish I didn't." I mumbled under my breath so he couldn't hear me.

"What the hell did you say! No one can hear you when you mumble you nerd!"

"Well, did you make it in?" I ask him.

"Yeah I did! Does that bother you? I will be the number one hero! Better than that damn Deku!"

Who is Deku?

"You never answered my question! Did you even make it, doubt you did." The blonde said confidently as he snaps me out of my thoughts.

"I actually did." I said softly as I turn to face the display of monsters in front of me.

"Yeah whatever. Funny joke you extra." The blonde replies.

Does he really think I am lying. Although, I do wish I was lying.

"I didn't even want to attend the UA." I say as I reach to grab a white monster. "What's even your name?"

"Bakugou, Katsuki Bakugou. You'll be hearing that name a lot when I become the number one hero!"

He is so damn cocky.

"L/n, Y/n L/n." I say as I outstretched my hand.

Bakugou aggressively grabs my hand and makes a "tch" sound. I didn't even think he would shake my hand I just put it out there to look nice.

"Well, it was nice meeting you I guess." I say as I start to walk away, heading for the register.

I check out and head back to walk to somewhere random. I start walking farther away from my house, finding a local park.

I take a seat on the park benching and place my grocery bag with the monster inside besides me. I occasionally sip my slurpee. I outstretched my body across the park bench, head on one side and my legs on the other, laying down.

As I am lying down taking in the silence and the moonlight, I watch as I figure walks across the grass and sits down on the park bench opposite from mine.
