This was one of the longest and busiest nights I had ever worked. It was nine o'clock at night and customers were still pouring in. It seemed as if the people were particularly picky and rude tonight. Either it was true, or I was just overly exhausted.

After cleaning up tables, ushering orders to hungry guests, and getting water spilled on me multiple times, I was about ready to quit.

"We've been waiting for fifteen minutes!" One of the men at the table I was waiting yelled towards me.

"It won't take much longer Sir," I tried to answer politely.

"The customers always right," he growled. I was so sick of that line. Every pissed off customer had tried to use it on me.

I faked a smile and returned to the kitchen. I grabbed the grouped plates and put them on a black tray. As I walked through the swinging doors, my eyes fell upon a particularly handsome man that was being seated with four other boys. Once my mind finally registered who they were, I nearly dropped the tray of food I was carrying. I quickly regained control and brought the food to the right table.

"Finally," the grumpy man mumbled.

"You're welcome. Enjoy!" I retorted.

Upon my return to the kitchen to grab even more meals, the restaurant manager called me over to the front desk. "I need you to get table fourteen," he ordered me.

"But I have meals to-"

"Don't worry about that!" He cut me off, "I assigned other people to that." I nodded and walked to table fourteen, which just so happened to be where the one and only One Direction was seated. I sauntered over nervously and pulled out my small black notepad.

"Can I start you guys off with some drinks?" I asked.

"Yeah, Zayn would like a tall drink of water," Louis said. All of the boys covered up their laughter as Zayn kicked him under the table.

"I'll have a beer, but not Zayn, cause he's a little drunk on you," the Irish boy teased.

The boys laughed uncontrolably as Zayn put his head in his hands. He turned to me and smiled shyly. "I'll just have a Pepsi."

"So, is that it?" I asked in a confused tone.

"I'll have a Pepsi babe," Louis said.

"Pepsi here!"

"Me too."

"Me three," came the chorus of their deep accents.

"Ok, I'll be right back with that."

"Hurry, Zayn can't wait," Louis taunted once more.

Zayn must have been so embarrassed. I knew I felt a little uncomfortable, but once I was out of sight, I couldn't help but laugh. One Direction was just hitting on me. Was this a dream?

"Here you go," I said while handing each of them their drink. They each thanked me and took a slow sip. I took their order and chatted for a few seconds before having my boss call me over again.

"Make sure you give them extra good service. I need a good review from them. Just put all your focus into that table."

"Yes sir."

In a way I was happy with this news. No more dealing with grumpy people and their problems. This night may turn out to be better than I thought. After all, I am getting to meet One Direction. Something millions of girls would kill to do.

"Here's your food," I said while putting the steaming pizza on the table. I refilled their drinks and got them another cheesy bread. When I got back, they were all staring at me.
