Once again, despite how hard he tried to calm himself, Jungkook was scared.

Hoseok had convinced him to come to the kitchen to eat. "Precious, Jinnie Hyung has already accepted you for who you are. He just needs an explanation for your recent behavior. There's absolutely nothing to worry about," He had said.

The sub and the switch now stood at the entrance to the kitchen. They had expected Seokjin to be in the kitchen cooking. And he was. But they weren't expecting Jimin and Namjoon to be conversing at the table.

Jungkook tried his best to hide behind Hoseok after spotting his other two hyungs. But they, along with Seokjin, easily spotted his larger frame hunched behind the switch.

Seokjin cautiously approached, scared to make any wrong moves. "Jungkookie?"

His sweet voice sounded like absolute heaven to Jungkook. He had missed his hyungs so much, and the gentle pheromones now drifting through the air almost had him bursting into tears.

Hoseok had moved to the table as Seokjin moved forward. The maknae remained in the same spot, tightly gripping his hands together and staring at the floor. He internally gasped as Seokjin's hand carefully landed on his shoulder.

Seokjin however, audibly gasped, but for a very different reason.

"Jeon Jungkook!" The younger boy glanced up fearfully. "Why did you let yourself get this thin? I can only feel bones and skin!"

"Huh?" Jungkook was prepared to be scolded or insulted, but this is what his hyung was worrying about?

The eldest ushered him towards the table muttering under his breath, "Sit, sit. I'm gonna need to make some rice porridge and eggs and other proteins. You're basically starving yourself right now, Kookie! This is all my fault. I'm supposed to make sure you're eating, how could I let you get to this point!"

Just as Seokjin was about to return to the stove, Jungkook caught his wrist.

"J-Jin hyung," He swallowed. "This wasn't your fault. I was the one stupid enough to skip meals so I wouldn't have to see you guys. I n-need to explain why I was acting like such a jerk, so if you want to make food afterwards maybe?"

Seokjin immediately shook his head 'no.' Jungkook's gaze fell, his heart sunk.

"I won't be able to sit and listen until I know you have food in your stomach. You look like you could pass out at any moment!" The maknae's eyes landed on Seokjin again. "I'm going to take responsibility, as the best and most mature hyung, to make sure you are 100 percent healthy."

Hoseok, Namjoon, and Jimin rolled their eyes at their hyung's statement, but a small noise had them focusing on Jungkook.

He was giggling softly, his cheeks slightly red as he covered his mouth in an attempt to muffle the laughter.

All eyes grew wide, it was the first time anyone had seen Jungkook laugh in weeks. And to top it all off, it was the most adorable giggle any of them had ever heard.

As his giggles subsided, he gave his trademark bunny smile to Seokjin. "Thank you for caring about me, hyung. I'll wait to talk when you sit down." Seokjin calmly nodded, but internally he was cooing over the flushed cheeks and toothy grin of his youngest dongsaeng, he just wanted to cuddle the boy for hours and feed him lots of food.

"Jungkookie," Jimin began talking as Seokjin pulled ingredients from various shelves of the fridge. Jungkook had almost forgotten than Namjoon and Jimin were also there at the table. "About what happened a few days ago..."

Jungkook's heart plunged. He remembered all the times he had angrily snapped at the elder in the past week and brushed off all offers of help. He hadn't even been thinking of how angry Jimin must be, and now he was facing the consequences.
