you giggled at the sight of him and his sister, kalynn, singing for one of their videos.

"HAVE YOU EVER HAD THE FEELIN YOU'RE DRAWN TO SOMEONE!" kalynn sang, laughing in between words.

you often watched the two whilst they made videos. to you, it was the most entertaining and enjoyable thing in the world, considering they are your 2 closest friends.

you and weston had an interesting relationship. you guys were friends but sometimes it felt like you were more. you wished it was more. it was pretty obvious you liked him but you never knew how he felt, no matter how many time kalynn told you he felt the same.

they both looked over at you and notioned for you to keep singing.

"YEAH, AND IT ISN'T ANYTHING THEY COULD'VE SAID OR DONE!" you sang.

not to long after, the chorus of the song came on.

"THAT YOU'RE LOOKIN FOR A BOYFRIEND, I SEE THAT!" you all sang together.

laughter stopped them from finishing the song.

they wrapped up their video and came to sit by you on the couch.

usually anytime you were with them it was constant laughing or talking, but the room was silent. everyone was just sitting on their phones, not paying attention to anyone's presence in the room.

it felt weird?

the silence was so loud.

how did this go from singing our hearts out to complete silence?

"hey, um do you guys wanna watch a movie?" you said, hoping for sound.

"i think i might actually go to bed." kalynn said.

what?

without another word, kalynn was already off to her room.

you looked over at weston hoping for him to say something.

nothing.

it's such a cliche thought, but you felt like they didn't wanna be around you. you decided that you should leave and maybe you guys could hangout another time.

"hey weston, uh i think i'm gonna get going."

you walked towards the door when you were stopped by a voice.

"can i come with you?" he said.

no seriously, this is so weird.

"yeah." you said.

the both of you walked to your car in silence, again, but it almost seemed as if he wanted to say something.

in no time you and weston were back to laughing and singing embarrassing songs.

you didn't really know where you were going. basically you didn't care where you went because you were with weston.

the laughing died down as weston turned down the radio.

"make a turn up here, i wanna show you something."

skeptical, you turned down the road he told you to which lead you to a grass plain, looking over the city.

weston got out of the car and sat up on the hood.

he looked at you through the windshield saying the words,
"come on."

you sat up with weston on the hood as you admired the city below you.

you cracked jokes for what felt like 10 minutes ended up to be almost an hour.

you felt tired but you didn't wanna leave.

"hey y/n, can i tell you something." he said.

you took not in his semi-serious tone.

"yeah what's up?" you said.

"i like you okay?" he said bluntly.

you were taken aback by his words as you tried to process what was happening.

"westo-" you said.

"how could you not tell?" he said, cutting you off.

"i don't know."

you didn't wanna say you liked him back because this felt like a joke.

he stared at you before looking back at the city.

moments passed as you built up your courage.

"i like you too, weston."

he didn't seem surprised.

he hoped off the hood and went back inside the car to grab his phone.

through the speakers of your car you heard the lyrics boyfriend.

you laughed as he came back to sit with you.

that you're looking for a boyfriend, i see that.

gimme time, you know i'm gonna be there.

don't be scared to come, put your trust in me.

"can't you see, all i really wanna be is your boyfriend."

also sorry this chapters all over the place, i really tried to incorporate the song lyrics.
