hello lovely people.

i just wanted to get this out there, and apologize for my inactivity here on Wattpad.

so, I'm sorry.

school has really been breathing down my back and i haven't really gotten the chance to do much because my motivation has really been seeping really quickly. so, sorry.

i guess...,

i can give you a part of the remastered version as a peace offering?

i'll try to get it out soon, but my past self really threw in A LOT of time skips and really undeserved friendships that shouldn't have happened when they did. (i.e. zeref and ur, i know i could have done much better).

so we're switching it up!

Hydrangea : The Fairytail Hero!

It was late in the summer, and the hot rays of the sun were beating down onto the land and trees. Annoying cicadas sang, their whiny song irritating anyone who was unfortunate enough to cross by one of the trees they would reside in. If one could ignore the ugly little bugs' singing, one would just be able to make out the morning birds chirping and flying in the far, far distance.

That summer day was particularly annoying though. Just a night before, it had rained very heavily. Due to this, the air was horribly humid, and it was hard to breathe if one was trying to get physical work done. There was mucky dew on blades of grass that shuddered and lost their residue of water when a person came barreling through the area with loud and desperate pants.

From an old and big oak tree, a small brown bird stared down at the human that ran past its tree. It chirped and hopped along its branch, and behind it, its nest started to also chirp in higher, more restless responses. The mother tilted her head to look at her hatchlings, all still pink and with no feathers- just their little fuzz. After a moment, she opened her wings and set off in hopes for food for her babies.

The human was long gone when the mother bird had started her search, and was instead too focused on trying to complete her run in time. Sometimes, she would feel a small prick of a sharp stone jab into her foot, and other times, she would even stumble from her unknowingness that there was something, like a stick or tree root in her way. Due to this, her knees, the soles of her feet, and the palms of her hands were covered in soot and small pebbles that had jammed their way into her skin.

She was used to this, though. In fact, this was actually much preferred.

A grin twisted onto her face when she caught sight of a familiar cave. With a final wave of pure adrenaline, the girl with matted silver hair tumbled into the cave with a victorious whoop. She didn't acknowledge the fact that she had fallen straight onto her side, the pain familiar to her- so it was simple to push aside, and instead wheezed like a madman, "Did it! I did it this time!"

A low and resounding chuckle reverberated throughout the dark cave walls suddenly, giving the girl a sense of swelled pride, "You did." She noted to herself how their voice wasn't as mocking as it usually was. She couldn't help but let a bigger smile onto her face, "Now, as I taught you."

She nodded, turning away from the comforting darkness of her home to instead sit up and shift her left foot onto her right thigh. Her nose scrunched up at the smell of it, but nevertheless gently pushed her hands out to hover above her injured foot.
