Naomi lay uncomfortably on the top of some random building, staring down at the Fairytail guildhall. She rested her head on her arms, feeling a small smile twitching at her lips when she saw a young girl with firey red hair and an armored chest walk out. Naomi was actually quite fond of the girl, having met many people she had used to know.
Erza Scarlet had been through so much, much more than any girl her age should have had to go through. She'd been separated from those she considered family, betrayed, and witnessed the death of many, many people. The Messenger had great respect for the girl, even if the red head didn't even know she existed.
Yes, that's right! Naomi hadn't been assigned to Erza, so it was never necessary for her to be go see her. But, Naomi liked her, so, fuck the system!
Discreetly, Naomi followed Erza until she safely made her way to the station. The silverette knew the red head would not appreciate being followed, so she never decided to show herself. Was Naomi being slightly stalkerish? Yes. Did she mind? Not for Erza.
The young girl stared up at the sky behind her, brows furrowing as she tried to ignore the sun shining in her eyes. She was nervous, it being her first mission outside of Magnolia. Erza never noticed the Messenger leaping away on the rooftops for a quick, and fun escape.

🦋"How have you been, Naomi?" Zeref allowed himself to say, a small gentle smile plastering itself onto his features.
Naomi grinned weakly, "Good, good." The female closed her eyes for a second, as her head just slightly fell forward, before she caught herself and jolted up again, "Sorry, sorry, just. . . Haven't slept all too much."
Zeref smile faltered ever so slightly, "Would it help to talk about it? Rest a while, maybe?" He leaned back against a tree, that remained alive, luckily.
She sighed deeply, rubbing her hands on her eyes as if to rid of her drowsiness, "Just. . . Alot of messages. Since, since I'm one of the quicker and more efficient Messengers they're having me do alot more than what I'm used to." Slowly, she opened her orbs again, "I'll get used to it, no need to worry."
Before he could think, he placed his hand on the top of her head an started to stroke her hair- something he used to do before she died. He always fussed about how knotty and frizzy her hair had been, but now, it was neat and long, with seemingly only a single strand out of place. "That doesn't stop me from worrying, you know."
