we pull away

y/n: "sorry- i- was that weird- i didn't mean-"

i chuckle

i pat her head and smile

techno: "it's fine"

she looks down and i could see that they were flustered. i mean i am too, who am i kidding

the ferris wheel begins to move again and i just look at y/n who was looking down

i feel techno tilt my head up to face him

techno: "i told you it was fine"

he pinches my cheeks and smiles

y/n: "why do you seem more confident than i am and i've been in a relationship"

techno: "you're saying i've never been in one?"

y/n: "precisely"

we both laugh

y/n: "i mean we've been friends for like god knows how long you think i'm not gonna know"
i mumble

techno: "we're still friends?"

y/n: "yeah what do you-"
realization hit me

y/n: "a-ahh"
i stammered

techno laughs softly

techno: "we don't have to call it anything if it stresses you, just talk it over with niki, who your ironically dating"
he says putting quotes in the air

i laugh and nod

y/n: "you're being too cool, are you freaking out right now?"

techno just nods and i start to wheeze

(A/N: i just realized they're still on the ferris wheel- JUST PRETEND THAT THEYRE GOING DOWN SUPER SLOW LMAO)

techno: "it's not that funny"

y/n: "hmmm debatable"

the guy let's us out of the ride and we head to technos car. we were still holding hands through the crowds

i look down at our hands and i'll admit, it was definitely way different now. i zone out without realizing, techno was at this point dragging me

techno: "if you really want me to kiss you just say so"

i snap my head up, glaring at techno signaling his death and techno wheezes

techno: "i'm kidding"

y/n: "just go inside the car"
i mumble

he continues to laugh but we both eventually get inside the car. i was glad that me and techno weren't awkward or that different.
