"Forever?"
He brushed his thumb on her cheeks. It was a hot summer noon, as the warm breeze blew, her auburn locks swayed along the wind. She held his hand as their pinky fingers tangled with each other, she smiled brightly, her lips tinted in cherry gloss.
"And always."
11:30PM. The bell rang.
"Alright class, it's lunch time, our lesson shall continue tomorrow, and of course don't forget to pass your essays too. I'm not taking any excuses!" Miss Lim chirped.
The room was filled with 'Yes', 'Alright', 'Okay' from the students that are obviously unenthusiastic about the activities piling up.
One by one, they went by the door, leaving Miss Lim and a guy who is.. asleep.
Miss Lim crossed her arms and sighed, of course she has no choice but to wake up the student. Before she was able to do so, his head popped back up.
She clapped as if applauding him.
"At least I don't have to spend 10 minutes waking you up today, Jeon."
She said, picking up pieces of paper on the floor, her tone is light like it happens usually and is nothing new anymore.Jungkook shyly scratched his nape, his eyes still droopy and his cheek marked with lines in result of sleeping on his spiral notebook. Although ashamed, he stood up and bowed lightly.
"I'm sorry, miss."
Miss Lim gave him a quick glance then continued picking up trashes left by the students.
"Oh hush, save it. Jeon, you only say sorry for things you regret and will do your best to not do it again. I understand that you're tired and that's the reason why—"
"You ask me to make reflection papers of the books and movies we discuss." he answered then went helping the lady by erasing the whiteboard.
After realizing that Miss Lim fell silent, his ears reddened, "I'm sor— I mean, I didn't mean to cut you off Miss Lim. Actually I'm embarrassed, because you never fail me nor give me bad remarks."
"Well I will really appreciate if you participate during oral discussions, however it's easier to make a parrot shut up than have you raise your hand." she chuckled lightly.
Jungkook shyly smiled, he rolled up his sleeves then reached for the top of the board, erasing the words 'Forever'.
"Son, what are your thoughts about the movie we just watched." The lady sat on one of the student's chairs as Jungkook remained standing in front, eraser on his left hand and a dazed state.
Miss Lim did tell him to watch it beforehand, the movie 'Always' that was played today. He did, and he even made the reaction paper yesterday, however, with the sudden confrontation, nothing seem to come out of his head.
