Bad Encounter

Slowly I am getting closer and closer to the point where I know she is. I have a big lunch today so hopefully she will be grateful. I can now see her and she is coming over, with a huge smile on her face.
"Umm, Hi Taylor I have to tell......." I say nervously to her.
"Where is my money?" She replies angrily. She sees my hair and her face goes bright red. "What did I tell you about doing that hairstyle?".
"I'm really sorry I didn't have time to..." She rips the hairband out of my hair pulling a chunk out. "It won't happen again. I promise." I say hanging my head. " I don't have any money so I brought you lunch instead.".
"O thank you so much I really love your tramp mum's food!" She shouts sarcastically "Don't ever bring me this disgusting pile of crap again" she says as she empties the entire bag onto the floor. She then grabs my wrist and I yelp, because of the cuts. She rolls my jumper up. Another one of my secrets she knows.
" Gross, you.... you cut yourself. FREAK!" She screams pushing me to the ground. My bag opens the entire content falling out, including my DIARY?!? Hopefully she doesn't see it.
" What's this?" she whispers "ooo your diary!". I know she will tell everyone at school. Now everyone will know all my secrets. Taylor runs off with my diary. That's it, today is the day. I am headed to the train station. Finally, I will be free. I send a quick message to Katie and Sophie: Thanks for always being there for me. Love you x

I walk carefully to the yellow line. I send a quick text to my mum: Bye mum. By the time you read this it will be too late. I'm sorry I never told you . It wasn't your fault xxx
"Train now arriving at platform 3 mind the gap" I hear the lady say. It's time. Goodbye.

JUMP! I'm falling in what seems to be slow motion. At last I will be free. I feel the train crash against my body. Then I feel nothing.

"Mya, Mya baby please wake up!" I hear a voice say. To my surprise I see my mum, dad, Sophie and Katie standing beside me. I'm in hospital? Why didn't it work? I'm supposed to be dead! I let out a loud sigh and close my eyes.
"Mya what happened? Why in the world would you jump in front of a train? What were you thinking? When the ambulance called us we thought you were dead!" My mum says with a shaky voice. To my surprise I can't feel any pain. I attempt to move my leg but I can't, it's probably broken. No big deal, right? I see my mum burst into tears and leave the room. What has happened to me.
"I think it would be best if we all leave and let her mum talk to her, tell her what has happened." I hear my dad tell Katie and Sophie. Everyone looks so sad. About five minutes after they leave my mum walks in wiping tears from her eyes. Her face red mascara running down her pale face. She looks terrible and it's all my fault. What have I done to myself? She slowly walks over to me and sits down on the bed. I hate seeing her sad. I try and sit up but fail badly, my mum sees this and turns away. I try and lift my leg but I can't? I look at my mum, she is still looking away.
"Mum?" She turns to look at me "I..I can't move my legs!" I stammer. She bursts into tears again and calls in for my dad who immediately comes rushing in.
"I can't do this, you have to tell her!" My mum shouts and runs out of the room.
"Dad why can't I move my legs? Please!" I beg him. He takes a few breaths then one long one. "Baby, are you sure?" I nod "When you jump...jumped in front of the train you were lucky it didn't kill you. The train missed your head and your chest, but from your hips down to your feet you....you you wasn't very lucky. Your my everything and I will never stop thinking your perfect. No matter what. But the truth is.... your paralysed from the waist down." My dad says and slowly begins to walk out of the room.
