summary: seungkwan sings his final song to vernon

As the rain fell, the crowd dispersed. Only Vernon standing in the middle with his waterproof headphones and his everlasting pain-filled heart. Everything held onto beat as Vernon cried out his agony and sorrows. He sang whatever lyrics he could, but nobody heard him, not even Seungkwan. 

And he ran. Vernon ran to the place where his heart burned and laughed the most.

"Who are you?" Vernon creeped up. 

Seungkwan wasn't one to believe in God - he thought it was too good to be true - but just now he definitely saw some sort of deity. He muttered small prayers asking the Gods above to forgive his sins because his heart sped up too fast and he was going to pass any second- 

"Are you done?" Vernon asked, staring blankly at the dramatic boy. He was in the middle of eating his pear when someone appeared in his eating spot. He was definitely not a friend, and he was singing? 

"Yes, I am. Now if you could, please leave. I am singing," Seungkwan whisked his head in the most exaggerating way possible, is it humanly possible to turn your head with that much force? 

Despite what Seungkwan says, Vernon refused to move any part of his body. Legit, the only thing he moved was his mouth because he's still eating his pear. 

"Nah, I'm having fun standing here," 

Seungkwan's eyebrow twitched. He knew that the boy was persistent so he sighed and gave up. 

Vernon was not going to stay here for long. It was too tiring and he would just give the stranger space anyway.

"Fine, I'll leave,"

"You can stay then," 

The boys stood there awkwardly not knowing what to do, it wasn't until another stranger came sliding down making Vernon spitting his pear out in fright. 

All three of them looked down at the pear with three different emotions. Seungkwan was amused, the slide boy was confused and Vernon was distraught.

Seungkwan, Vernon's favourite person in the world, was gone and he hated that he couldn't remember anything. He couldn't remember ever having a conversation with Seungkwan or any fun memories they had together. It was all gray. 

The first and the last. 

When can Seungkwan finally sing for him?
