Doctor Who X-Reader

Part 4

'Why doesn't anything go the way that I plan it? Nothing goes the way I think it will and little things like that make my day so much worse! I can't even so anything without thinking about the doctor anymore! It's been 4 weeks! Nothing has been the same since that day and now my whole day revolves going over and seeing him at the hospital. I have never really thought about how much my life revolved around what the doctor did....
I went to go see the doctor the next afternoon, I talked to him while holding his hand just wishing that he would respond, so I could hear his voice one more time, just once!!! But once I had said that to him I felt his thumb rub my hand and he gently opened his eyes to find me shocked. He closed his eyes once more and all I heard was the monitor go 'BEEEEP'. All the nurses came running in and they opened his eyes to shine a light in to see if he was responsive..... he wasn't. They took him into surgery right away. One of the nurses had to hold me back from running after the rest of them as they took him away from me, I didn't like that, but I knew if she hadn't I would be ushered out of their right away and they wouldn't let me see him again.
It felt like I was waiting days for them to get out of the surgery room. I wasn't going to be able to go see him at all! That was going to kill me! I just wanted to see him and hold him, was that to much to ask?
While I was in my deep thought someone touched my shoulder snapping me out of my gaze. It was one of the nurses.' I snapped out of my thought right as she approached me.
"How is he? Is he better now? He's not dead is he?! Oh please tell me he didn't die! Can I go see him?!" You said faster then you even thought was possible.
'Im sorry miss but you cant go and see him only family can go in right because if his condition' She said. 'I'm not pleased to hear this, I thought for a while of what I could say to her to make her change her mind. Then it came to me.'
"I'm his wife." you said. She looked at you and she saw a ring. (The ring she saw was your grandmothers)
"Alright fine. You can go in." You run over to his room and saw how much pain and things were hooked up to him and you started to cry unconditionally. You have never seen this happen to anyone. You were never going to leave his side again.
*MONTH LATER*
'Im relived that the doctor had woken up. I was never so happy in my entire life. He looked so peace when he slept and when he was awake we talked until he couldn't anymore. Omg! He's waking up.'
"Hey beautiful." He said with a smirk on his face.
"Hey. How are you feeling?"
"I'm fine," he said waving his hand in your face, "how are you?"
"I'm perfectly perfect." you smiled unconditionally. You sat on his bed and you took his hand in yours, he look at you, eyes wide. You looked at him, then your hands. You took your hands apart fast so that they weren't touching. You kept forgetting he wasn't asleep anymore. The only thing though is when you took your hand away he went to grab it again and he didn't let you take it away from him. Moments later the nurse came in.
"Excuse me, I just wanted to tell you both that your ready to leave the hospital now. You are responding to the treatments so well you can leave whenever you please. And I wanted to say you and you wife are so cute together, congratulations." she said smiling and walked out of the room. your eyes got wide and they looked down at the doctor to see his eyes just as wide as your own.
"What is she talking about?" He asked.
"Umm, maybe she just got confused?" You said hoping he wouldn't see how nervous you were.
"Yeah, sure that's what it was." he said smirking, he started laughing so hard he started to cough and his face was as red as a tomato. You also started to laugh and you felt your checks blush. After that he kept making jokes like, "So wife what are you going make me for dinner?" And "Where Are we going for you honey moon sweetie?" You laughed at all of them. You got up and threw a pillow at him and started to get his thing ready to leave. Once you were done both of you left together and went to go get some coffee, and that's that, for now. 😊
