What I saw made me fall to the ground butt hard.
The sliding door to the balcony was open, making the wind come in and the curtain dance. On the other side of the door, which the curtain was covering, was a figure of a man.

"Kylieee, everything okay up there?", Joy's voice came from downstairs.

Another wind blew the curtain and this time the figure completely vanished.
I grabbed the nearest item as defence, which was a steel water bottle. And headed towards the balcony.

Clutching the pink shirt towards my chest and raising the water bottle, I was ready to hit whoever was outside just now.

But to my surprise, there was no one on the balcony. I looked outside and near the porch. The balcony railings were pretty high, no way someone could have climbed up without a ladder and jumped down without breaking bones.
But there was no ladder and no person wriggling around on the grass with broken bones.

I was confused...

Closing the balcony doors shut, I changed into my pajamas and rushed down stairs.

"Hey Jen?"

"Yo"

"Does anyone live nearby this place?"

"I don't think so dude, the only nearest residents, I heard of from mom and dad was a family, a mile away, they own a strawberry farm here", Jennifer said not looking up and cooking the noodles.

Maybe it was just my imagination? My habit of watching horror films at midnight was back again, so maybe it was because of that.

•~Magical time skip~•

Dinner was great with the girls. I got my mind off the eerie encounter from before and I decided not to tell Jennifer about it, because I don't wanna spook the scaredy cat, she will be obviously living alone here.

"Guys! I can't stop listening to Bangtan's new Japanese single!", Joy squealed.

"OMG I know rightttt, it's so damn good, it's so chill and beautiful", Jen said making the UwU face. Awww

" Film Out, is definitely my song on loop when I'm out having a night ride in the woods", I added in.

"Hey! I told you not to take your bike into the woods at night, it's dangerous Kyle, what if you get lost? or your bike fails or something worse happens?!", Jen exclaimed widening her eyes at the last part.

I hugged her tightly, " Don't worry Eomma, nothing will happen to your baby, I know that place like the back of my hand and by the way, Joy didn't want me to tell you this but... "

"Kylie!"

"Did you know that Joy has been hanging out all alone in those dangerous alleys and in the woods all by herself and she's been skipping classes since the last week", I said laughing my ass off, as Jennifer scolded Joy.

A few more movies, binge watching web dramas and a lot more bickerings and fan girling over almost every male in Korean Entertainment Industry, we all let out yawns. It was 2 AM in the morning.

"Girls, how about a small skincare before sleeping?", Joy suggested.

" Sure I have avocado, orange and strawberry face masks, Oh! And I got these new face oils and lotion which we totally have to try!", Jennifer the skin expert rambled.

"You girls carry on, I'mma do my night routine and be back after you girls are done"

"Kylieeeee, can't you stay for us, pretty please", Joy said making her puppy face, which obviously never works on me.

" Nah girl, my baby already misses me, need to go, see ya in a bit", I said grabbing my bike keys and heading out.

"Kyliee, it's already 2 am, don't go too far and if you don't come back within 25 minutes, we're coming out to search and then we call the cops!", Jen yelled.

"Got it!", I yelled back.

I put on my helmet, the moon was shining bright on my bike, giving her a majestic look. Hopping on, I started her and she purred to life. I whistled.

" Let's ride with the moon, baby!", I chuckled to what I said.

With no destination in mind, I headed towards the way in which we came to this place.

I speeded down the empty roads, surrounded by empty grasslands. Looking for a particular old, worn out building.
Bingo! There it is, the old church which I saw on my way here. Why would a church even be built here?

I parked my bike in front. The moonlight gave me a clear view of the broken windows, the trash surrounding the front and... The big lock on the doors. Dammit, there's a lock here!

I looked around. What the fuck am I supposed to do now?!

Then I decided to do something crazy...
I picked up a rock, bigger than the size of my palm and attacked the lock.

*attack* *attack* *attack* *attack* *attack* *boom!*

The lock broke and I removed it from the doors. I pushed the doors open with all my strength and was immediately hit by a swarm of dust.

*cough* *cough* *cough* *cough* *cough×10*

I swayed my hand, getting the dust out of my face. Already regretting setting foot here.

You see... I have this biker group, we all talk rarely but when we do it's all about the unusual places that we've visited when we went on rides around the town. Seoul really has some of the most underrated, horror places you've ever seen.
They'll freak out after I send them a clip of this place, this is nothing like what they've seen in those common alleys or the same old open areas amidst the woods.

I took my phone and turned on my selfie camera recording myself.

"So guys, I'm right now in an old abandoned Church at the outskirts of Seoul, this place is hella old, at least a century old, lookin at the broken windows, wood and almost everything here... "

I turned my camera around to get the view of everything here. Right when I turned around to show the entrance to the camera, the most unexpected shit happened.

There was a loud screeching noise from behind me.
