After my 10 days of quarantine, I went back to my house. 3 days later, Arabela contacted me and says that she is on the Philippines as well. In fact, we rode the same aircraft I rode last October 3.

I thought about this. Since it's pandemic and we need to earn money for our studies, I asked my consent to my parents if I can establish a business independently from our business, so that I cannot depend on my parents' money. In return, my dad gave me 10 million pesos to start a business. That's a lot.

After that, I contacted Daniel and Arabela regarding that matter.

I initiated the conversation.

"Okay. I have an idea. Since Arabela is in Calamba as well, I thought of something. Why not let's establish a business? We can be business partners. We're all 18 now, so I think the membership should not be a problem to you."

Daniel asked me, "Where will you get the money in investing in a business?"

"Well, I got 10 million to start. Okay. That's why this is urgent. My dad gave us 10 million to start a business. I am asking for your consent if you want to be partners of the business I will be establishing."

They are up for it.

I thought of this. "I have this business in mind. A coffee shop business?"

Arabela told us, "Why not? I would love to do it. Many people drink coffee nowadays. And I think our business will be going well, despite the pandemic."

Daniel agreed and said, "I'm in. But I will contribute 2 million pesos in our business."

She added, "I will just contribute 30,000 pesos, kuya."

Daniel questioned her contribution. "30,000?"

I replied, "I understand. It's pandemic. We need money for important things. Family first. Keep the 30,000. Your family needs it more."

I added, "Well, I think 10 million will be the budget for everything. Your contributions will be part of our cash."

She then replied, "Okay, kuya. Noted. I will be in charge of the marketing. You're be in charge of the accounting stuff, since you will be an accountant soon. Daniel will be in charge of the technical stuffs."

I told them about this. "Agreed. Just focus on our requirements, and in a month, we will be having our business ready. I'm sure it is a hit."

We focused on our studies while we're waiting for our business to be established.

While waiting, I took a driving licensure test and passed on my first time. That was a great move!!

2021.11.11

I founded the coffee shop. We named our coffee shop Lounge #89. The 89 comes from our birthdays added together (12+14+12+30+9+12).

For the first year, we decided to share the profits and losses in a 8:1:1 ratio (80% to me and 10% each to Daniel and Arabela, since I contributed almost all of the assets.) They agreed on the ratio, since I personally allotted 10 million pesos as my contribution in this business.

On the first month, we unexpectedly earned around 50,000 pesos as our net income. I know that it's a very small amount of money, but that is a lot of profit for the first month.

2021.12.14

This is my 19th birthday. I was surprised when my dad asked me to leave the house and go to the location he sent to me. Since it's still in the stage of COVID-19, I went there by myself.

When I went there, I was surprised that the location is very big. It is another mansion, probably a 20,000-square-meter mansion.

I went inside and saw a red Ferrari 488. I ran out of words.

One security guard gave me a letter and asked me to read it out loud.

"Hello, James! Happy 19th birthday to you. You went through a lot, so I want to give this 40,000-square-meter mansion to you, as well as a red Ferrari 488 on your 19th birthday.Don't be shocked. You deserved this. I hope you liked it. From Daddy and Mommy."

I am speechless. Oh my gosh! So they are behind this??????

The security guard gave me another letter and asked me to read it.

"This is not just your house. This will be Minhyung (Daniel) and Minseo's (Christopher) house as well. I asked the architect to have an indoor badminton court, indoor volleyball court, as well as mini movie theater, practice room, a mini auditorium, and a game room. I have also prepared a library and study room inside the house. Enjoy your Olympic-sized pool at the backyard. If you are worried about the management, I am way ahead of you. I hired maids and helpers that will manage this 4-hectare house of yours. Daniel isn't jealous; did you see a yellow Lamborghini Aventador on another side? That's his. I'm sure you are really speechless, don't you? Tour the house first before you ran out of words. Love, Kim Jinhwan."

Did my dad and Tito JM teamed again for this 4-hectare mansion? This is really huge. It really is.

I love them! They are my family (though I am not related to them by blood).

I wonder if where did they get a lot of money on this one. Probably this costs more than a billion of pesos (I think that this amount is immaterial to them). Also, when did they constructed this??

The restaurant that they manage is hugely a success.

I explored the house and it's really big!! I am not used to it. It is a 5-storey house. The living room and guest rooms, as well as the dining rooms, are in the ground floor. The sleeping rooms, as well as the bathrooms on each rooms, are on the first two floors (ground and first). I can't count on how many bedrooms it is, but I have my room on the first floor. Daniel and Christopher's room (maybe Daniel's and Christopher's) may be on the first floor as well. 

Anyways, the auditorium and game room is on the second floor. The practice room is in the third floor. The movie theatre is in the fourth floor.

The courts are located in another house.

Really??? It is indeed a huge piece of land.

I went to the other mansion. It is really big, anyways. The library is on the first floor. The indoor badminton court is in the ground floor. The volleyball court is just beside the badminton court.

It has a lot of bedrooms (even on the second mansion). It's just like a hotel for me. It's really big.

I went out and saw the outside. There is a garden (literally, I can even plant wheat there).

I went to the pool as well and it's really big. I even saw that there is an oval (the oval in the athletics track) in the mansion (because it's too big).

I imagined myself living in this 40,000-square-meter house by myself. I am indeed shaking. I am not used in living this land.

I had a picture on my new home and sent it to my close ones. Mom, Dad, Tita Melanie, Tito JM, Minhyung, and Minseo.

I took a vlog on the house tour. Literally, it will take me at least 2 days to vlog this one.
