I slam the door shut behind me.
Ice cream is what I need. That what my grandma usually give me in situations like this.
Ice cream to cool of my hot head, she tells me.
I look across to where the abandoned Linx is and notice Lomar still standing outside, with the attic door open on the side of the house. He doesn't notice me and start heading to head in the opposite direction.
Somehow in my attempt to turn the corner before he notice though, I fall. Not the "almost fall and catch myself fall" either. The whole flat on your face fall. I was walking on the grass since it was quieter than stepping on the rocks on the road and had completely forgotten the huge tree root sticking up at the end of my yard.
"Ouff" I slowly roll onto my back.
"Alex?" I sat up to see he was walking towards me. His face looking concern. "You okay?"
He stuck out his hand. I ignored it and stood up.
" I am perfectly fine, thank you."
His once concern looking face was now filled with laughter. I shot him a hateful (as hateful as I could make it look) look and turned and stalk off in the direction I was headed.
"Where are you headed," He followed me.
I turned toward him. I turned too fast and he stumbled, not expecting it. Hell, he was walking right behind me.
"Don't you have something to do?" Indicating to the Linx.
"Yes, I do. But I have to go to the hardware store"
I raised my eyebrows "Are you stalking me?"
He fix his face into a disbelief expression, though I can tell he's trying not to smile. I freaking hate him.
"Am I stalking you?"
I crossed my arms."You already went to the hardware."
This is when he really pisses me off. He leans over like I'm a child that's hard of hearing and looks me at eye level. "And. I. Have. To. Go. Back."He says slowly.
Ahhhhhhh!
