Toono POV
I'm I'm class, and paid no attention to the teacher whatsoever, we literally went over this yesterday.

To be honest, I'm bored. Since changing schools and moving, there hasn't been a case in forever.
Oh yeah, my name is Toono Takashi Kudo, the cousin of the famous teen detective Shinichi Kudo.

Me and Shinichi were really close since we were little and we even went to the same school up until highschool, but then my dad got a new job and we were forced to move and I have to change schools. Also growing up with him made me have the same detective mindset as him, granted he's a bit smarter than I am.

Me and him still keep in contact, but he went hiatus for a while and I started getting worried, then I found out from the professor that he shrunk into a kid.

Let's just say I laughed my ass off when I see him again, and also found out he is in a relationship with the freaking Phantom Thief; Kaito Kid, ALSO also he used the alias Conan Edogawa, which I think are two different authors.

Anyway, the bell just rang and we all scrambled to get out of class, me not so much because I accidentally joined a freaking sex club so fml. Then we heard a blood curdling scream, I bolted to the source and found a student looking terrified as he pointed towards a stall.
There, sat a student dead with a knife in his gut, there's blood everywhere and the guy who found the body just passes out.

The other students came in and they were just as terrified, the teachers called the police and they confirmed the student to be a member of the jazz band club named Sayoko Maizono.
The police arrived and they start investigating the body and all that, then I saw a familiar face, is that uncle Mouri Kogoro?

"Uncle Mouri?"
I called out to him.

"Huh? Oh, you're the brat's cousin"
-Mouri

"By brat, you mean Shinichi right?"
-Toono

"Yeah the brat, why are you here exactly?"
-Mouri

"Uh I go here, this is the school I moved to"
-Toono

"Oh, just don't get in the way okay?"
-Mouri

"Kay. Like you ever solved those cases yourself"
I said, whispering the last part.

I walked back to the club and saw Yacchan's face is pale, guess he don't do so well with blood. One of the students I recognized is one of the player in our soccer team is crying, turns out he was friends with the victim, his name is Leon Kuwata.

But something feels off, wait why is he wearing the soccer practice uniform, practice starts after school.

I saw some familiar faces investigating the murder like Inspector Megure, but then I saw a familiar hair, a childhood friend if you will.

"Ran?"
I said gaining the girl's attention

She turned around and that confirms it's her, Ran Mouri my and Shinichi's childhood friend.

"Toono?"
She said looking at me.

The club looks at me then at her then back at me, then I saw her ran full speed at me and before I knew it she was engulfing me in a tight hug, I grabbed her by the waist and spun her around so that neither of us fall.
