Yoongi was on his way to his college campus with heavy steps. Coincidentally, it was a rainy dreary day which didn't make his mood any better. Last night, he made a pretty big decision.
"Don't worry mom, i'll drop out of school and help pay off the bills" Yoongi said holding his mother
"No, Yoongi-ah I don't want to take that away from you! It's okay, mom will handle this okay?"
"No mom, you and dad can't handle this by yourself. I'm 24, I can contribute to the household too"
"But... it's your final year and...dropping out is just so wrong... I'm so sorry Yoongi-ah" she cried even more
"It's okay mom, I just want you to be safe. I want us to be safe"
With a heavy sigh, Yoongi walked into his school's office area. He informed them of dropping out. They tried to convince him to not do it, but Yoongi said they the family is going through unforeseen circumstances. They understood, and processed with the process.
On his way out of the schools office, he catches his other friends Jung Hoseok and Kim Taehyung sharing an umbrella trying to get out of the rain. They were both known to be the campus top gay couple. They've been together since their high school days. Both came from pretty rich families and loved the perfect live in Yoongi's eyes
Yoongi met them his freshman year during a random party. He doesn't usually go to parties but his mother encouraged him to socialize. Yoongi was awkward at first when it came to making friends because he was use to being a loner in high school. But both Hoseok and Taehyung being their extroverted selves that day, didn't want to leave Yoongi out. They invited him to hang out the whole night and ever since then the three are the best of friends.
"Oh! Hey It's Yoongi hyung" Taehyung calls out
"Hey guys" Yoongi greeted back
"What's wrong? You sound sad" Hoseok pouts
"Yeah... I ran into a little problem at home and now I just redrew from the school"
Taehyung and Hoseok both gasped. Taehyung then pats Yoongi back "Do you want to go inside and talk about it?"
"I don't know, I can't really buy anything. But I guess it's better than being at home right now" Yoongi said shrugging
