It was the next day. Yoongi woke up, got dressed, and headed to the dining room like usual. Today he was greeted with Seokjin sitting at the table with a laptop and his camera. It looked like he was transferring and viewing the photos he took of Jimin yesterday.
"Hey Yoongs" Seokjin said and sipped his coffee "I already have your food ready. And Jimin's, but he isn't awake with you I see"
"Yeah..." Yoongi said sounding dead
Seokjin looked at him concerned "W-Whats wrong? Are you sick?"
"No... I-It's just... I have a lot on my mind"
Seokjin pushes his laptop away and gives his full attention to Yoongi "Okay, elaborate. I'm here to listen"
"I uh...I don't know. This is kinda awkward for me to say this"
"Does it involve Jimin?"
Yoongi nodded his head and bites his lip
"If it involves Jimin you know I'm the best person to help. So go ahead and tell me"
"I... well..." Yoongi sighs "Jimin called me daddy"
Seokjin gasped out loud "Oh my gosh... I didn't think it would happen this soon"
"why're you so calm about this? In little space world... isn't this like a big deal. A big responsibility?"
Seokjin shrugs "Well yeah. But like, I think this is a great accomplishment for Jimin. For him to trust someone like this. It's honestly a great thing. I'm happy he's starting to trust other people"
"I don't know how to respond to this" Yoongi mumbles
"Well to be Jimin's official caretaker, is huge. I'll tell you a secret" Seokjin leans forward and whispers "It also means deep inside, Big Jimin has also taken a liking to you"
Yoongi looked at him in disbelief "B-But I've never met Jimin officially while he was big"
"That's true. But maybe deep down he knows that you take care of baby Jimin well even if he's not always around. At some point Jimin asked me to be his daddy too"
"Really? And what happened?"
"Well... unfortunately I had to refuse it" Seokjin sighs "I do help take care of Jimin, yes. But I'm not allowed to be his caregiver per say. It's simply not my job. As Jimin's friend, I just like to help out. I even talked to Jimin about it once, when he was in big space. He also felt that was a rash in the moment question little Jimin asked me at the time "
"So... do you think this time is a rash decision too?"
Seokjin frowns and hums in confusion "It's hard to truly tell. But deep down I can tell that both Jimin's have taken a big liking to you. I can tell by how quickly Jimin trust you to do trivial things with him. Trivial things can be a big deal to in Jimin's head. Big Jimin wouldn't even allow someone new like you to randomly bath him, that's for one"
"If it makes you uncomfortable... I can understand if you refuse it" Jin continues "I remember Jimin didn't want to talk to me for a whole week though. It broke me heart"
Yoongi looked suddenly in distress "ugh.. I can't have Jimin avoiding me. I can't deal with that"
"Aww! It's cute to see how much you care for him. I don't blame you. He's too precious for this world"
"Okay so... with this new title... what am I expected to do as his caretaker?"
"Nothing much, everything you've been doing will be the same. You're already in that daddy dom little baby stage at this point" Seokjin shrugs
"No I mean...are their any changes?"
"Not if you want their to be. I mean this just means Jimin's officially yours. Like you can control and rule certain things in your relationship now that you two are closer"
"I see... I definitely need to think about this"
Seokjin got up and pats Yoongi's shoulder "Don't dwell on it too much. It's not anything bad. It's a huge honor, like I said earlier. I suggest you do more research before answering Jimin"
Yoongi takes Seokjins advice into considering. He just sighs and begins to eat his breakfast. After he was done, he walked up to Jimin's room hoping the younger wasn't still asleep. He feels bad for leaving Jimin early yesterday. If it's true that this means Jimin trust Yoongi a lot, then Yoongi wouldn't want to break the littles trust.
"Jimin?" Yoongi asked knocking on his bedroom door, slowly opening it anyways
He noticed Jimin's television on, and the younger sat quietly at his couch watching it. Jimin looked over to Yoongi and blushed immediately.
"Hey, you were awake? How come you didn't come down for breakfast then?"
Jimin shrugs "Was waiting for Yoonie..."
"Waiting for me to come up here? I'm sorry, I wanted to let you sleep more. Come on, let's go eat some breakfast"
"D-Did Yoonie eat already?"
"Yeah I did. But i'll watch you eat. I'll be okay"
After breakfast, the two of them went back to Jimin's room. Jimin washed up quickly with the help of Yoongi of course. Today was an art day, so Jimin wanted to color and draw some pictures. Jimin was more quiet in front of Yoongi today.
Yoongi looked over Jimin's shoulder "What're you drawing"
"I-I'm drawing Yoonie and Jiminie" Jimin said blushing
Yoongi saw two stick figures holding hands, in front of the mansion entrance it looked like. Yoongi smiles at the drawing feeling his heart beat. He felt a sense of pride knowing that Jimin really looked up to him.
"I think it's really nice Jiminie. Can you draw me lots of pictures in the future?"
Jimin's held his head down shyly "Yes... I can"
"Okay i'm so excited for them"
The rest of the day was spent the same. Yoongi watching Jimin play and then it leads to dinner and a bath. After Jimin was put to sleep, Yoongi went into his own room and looked up more things on little space. He wanted to be sure of his decision. He wanted to know what was right for Jimin.
