Part -6

Arjun's POV

I felt my muscles weak when I landed my eyes on her. I gleamed at those dazzling orbs, which was overwhelming me towards her.

My face filled with a twitching smile that I could not hide, as the feeling landed with a smite. It was uncomplicated if I just denied falling in love with her at first sight.

My heart started muttering the name that I longed to hear. That one glance at her made me completely lost in her.
I tried to break the lock, which I couldn't.

I saw her lips curved in a smile which only made me more bedazzled to her.
But it didn't lasted for long as we heard the voice from behind.

"Subhadra!", I saw Sanjiv waving at her. She smiled at him removing my hands and walked towards him.
There goes my hopes and bliss, taken and swallowed by the world.

I wasn't in a condition to hold back my emotions, so I decided to get out from there. I moved towards the lake and looked at my reflection.

But as I look into my eyes I see her reflection, my desire for her, my hidden affection. My skin was still burning from her touch, when she lay in my arms and the very moment I wanted to say, how much I have missed her.... but things wasn't on my way. I fight back my pain and tears and started to walk back.

I went back to see them discussing something important, as their face reveals so. As soon as I reached there, their stares fell upon me. She looked at me bit confused, I just smiled back.

" Who are you ?", She asked me with a small smile, that was more than enough for me to heal my pain.

Before I could reply Sanjiv replied without thinking " He's my Sakha , Prince Arjun of Indraprastha !".

I glanced at him with astonishing eyes, he bit his tongue for what he had said right now. I looked at her with nervousness as I don't want to mess up the relation at the first meet.

I thought she would have burst out in anger, but instead she was in a confused state thinking of something.
I felt a little relief but the one thing that hurt me was that she doesn't even know that a man like me exist.

"What are you thinking Sub...hmm princess ?", I spoke up finally.
She gestured nothing and greeted me with a warm smile.

By the time, Sanjiv narrated me the whole incident that she has described a little while ago. I hummed in response.

" Can you please take me with you ", I heard her ask him with a voice filled with panic.

" That's not an easy thing ! I can't take you with me now! Since they found out me, there will be great trouble!.", He insisted instead of comforting her.
I felt her griefness which I couldn't afford.

" He doesn't mean to hurt you Princess , only just spoke it out in frustration. You know He needs some time to make the condition stable . We will find out a way out soon and take you from here. Right Sanjiv ?", I eyed him to agree with it . He nodded confusly at my gesture.

I looked at her, and felt a little better than before.
" I think you have to take leave before anyone finds you out ! You know there are people around as the festival is going on......", I said with a small grin.
She smiled and nodded in a yes.

I watched her constantly till she completely disappeared from my sight.

Lekha and Shravya waited for Subhadra a little longer as they weren't sure whether she has found prince Sanjiv.
After sometime they decided to leave and saw Subhadra coming hurriedly towards them.

"Did you find him?", asked Shravya to which she nodded.

"We will talk about it in the chamber", Lekha whispered and took both of them along with her.

They entered the chamber and closed the door behind. Subhadra explained everything what has happened.

"What? Prince Arjun !", Shravya exclaimed, while Lekha hushed her.

Lekha wanted to say Subhadra that he was her bua's son but she resisted herself from saying it as she doesn't want to make the situation worser.

"I'm happy to know that Prince Arjun is by your side putri", she said caressing her hair. Subhadra smiled.

Later, she instructed both of them to not talk about the Matter and took to leave.

"By the way jiji, how's Prince Arjun ?", Shravya asked dreamily.
Subhadra insisted.

" I have heard that he have captured the hearts of many girls. Did he stolen yours jiji? Is that why you aren't telling me about him ", Shravya asked making a suspicious face.
Subhadra shooked her head nervously while lekha called out Shravya leaving behind Subhadra alone.

"Prince Arjun !", she whispered.
