|| Chapter 2

-Tamaki's POV-

I was waiting toward the entrance/exit of the airport, waiting from my grandma, who just flew into Tokyo from Paris, to get out of the bathroom.

Normally, we wouldn't be in such a, commoner's, place, but our private jet broke down. So this was our only choice. 

I notice a girl, with H/L, H/C hair walking toward a stand with taxi agencies. 

Oh no, I can't let another foreigner get tricked by those money-grabbing scams!

I walk up behind her, trying not to scare her, and I ask; 

"Excuse me, princess, but are you lost?"

She turns around and I am met with beautiful E/C eyes and a slightly confused facial expression. I blush ever so slightly.

Wow... 

I learned that her name was Y/N, and offered her a ride. Something about her was so alluring. 

She looked to be about my age, so I ask;

"Are you going to school here?"

"Oh yeah! I'm going to Ouran Academy here in Tokyo, my first day is on Monday!" She exclaims, seeming a lot happier now that she has a ~safe~ ride.

My heart nearly stopped and my eyes widened. For a second I stopped walking. 

She was going to OURAN!?

All I could do was smile.

"Really!? I go there!" I exclaimed. I could see her big, E/C eyes light up.

"Oh wow, that's great!" She replied with a smile. "Guess I'll have a friend there!" 

My heart stopped again and this time I blushed. 

Does she consider me a friend?

"Tamaki Suoh stop this instant!" 

I recognized that voice immediately. I blushed, but not in a good way.

"Did you simply forget about me? I was lost and had to find my way across the whole airport-" She stopped talking once her eyes laid on Y/N.

"My goodness, are you Mizuki's granddaughter?!" My grandma asked almost excitedly. The whole mood changed.

Did she already know Y/N?

"Yes! It's good to see you again Mrs. Suoh!" Y/N exclaimed and bowed. I stood there, completely confused and awestruck. My grandma, who was always cold and stern, now quickly became the opposite. 

"Uh, you know, Y/N, Grandma?" I asked very confusedly.

"Yes, I do! I am close allies with her grandmother, Mizuki L/N!" 

My family is already close with hers? Could this get even better?

"I'm assuming you don't have a ride, so let me offer you one!" My grandma said a lot more calmly this time.

The three of us walked up to our limo that was just short of the entrance, and we got in. I held my hand out to Y/N and she gladly took it and stepped into the limo. 

My grandma whisper's something to our driver, and we already began driving, almost before we could all sit down. 

"Wait, where are we going?!" I asked, a little concerned. 

"To Y/N's house, obviously!" My grandma responded. She was sitting next to Y/N.

I was a little shocked that my grandma knew where she lived, but then again, she was a woman of mystery and surprises. 

The ride mainly consisted of my grandma catching up with Y/N, and asking about her family and grandmother. 

"So, how is your father? Still in France?" She asked.

I saw Y/N look at the ground and she stayed was silent. 

"He uh, p-passed away a couple of months ago..." She responded quietly and almost incoherently. 

"WHAT? I'm so sorry Y/N! I had no idea of such tragedy." My grandma almost screamed to enhance her empathy. 

I decided to give Y/N a hug because she looked like she could really use one. Her head buried into my chest. My face turned red, and my grandma smirked at me. 

Did she like the idea of Y/N and I hugging? 

Just about then, we arrived at her house, and she stood up and grabbed her luggage. 

"Thank you so much for the ride! I'll see you at school on Monday, Tamaki." 

I could tell she was faking a smile.

"WHAT? YOUR GOING TO OURAN TOO?! THIS IS PERFECT!" My grandma practically screamed again.

Both Y/N and I looked at my grandma with very confused faces, and she realized what she had said.

"Uh, perfect as in, Y/N having a friend already!" She lied. 

Y/N giggled and waved goodbye to us and left the limo. Her laugh was so cute.

"What was that all about?" I asked, slightly embarrassed by my grandma.

"Oh, nothing!" She laughed and had a devilish smile on her face. 

I turned my head the other way and watched Y/N walk into her house as the limo started to drive away toward our house

"She's cute, right?" 

All I could do was smile and nod
