"Zip me up."
I sighed as I held the front to my chest while Donna zipped the back of my dress.
Struggling, she said, "Suck it in."
"I am sucking it in!" I shrieked, looking at her through the full length mirror.
"Okay relax I got it."
She managed to somehow zip the dress, making me let out a breath.
"Wow, you must've gained a little weight."
"Now is not the time to tell me I'm getting fat."
"Just sayin'." She raisd her hands and backed off, going back to her makeup.
"Are you ready for tonight?" I asked after a few moments, putting on a little blush.
"I guess so. Xavier's gonna be there so that'll help."
I smiled, "Yeah."
"How have two weeks gone by this fast?" She asked, "it feels like yesterday when you and Damien were fighting like kids."
"It's freaky. He's not going to be our Damien anymore."
"Hey! No sad thoughts bunny." She warned me, then collected her phone and keys.
"My hair look okay?" I asked, checking the pins of my bun one more time.
"Stop being so obsessed with your hair."
I glared at her, which made her laugh, "I'm kidding, geez."
Rolling my eyes, I walked out the my room.
"Hey, I wanted to tell you something." Donna said as she followed, both us heading out and into the elevators.
"Uh huh?"
"I-we-um...I mean Xavier and I, have decided to tell Damien about us."
I stilled, "What? When?"
"After the excitement from his engagement dies down. I'm so nervous, you have no idea."
"Um, wow. That's great." I laughed nervously, "I can understand your nervousness, believe me."
"What do you think he'll say?" She asked.
"I-I don't th-think-"
"I don't want him to be like, super mad." She interrupted, "I don't expect him to be really joyous either but-"
"Hey, It's going to be fine." I said when I saw her visibly panicking, "let's just get through today."
"Yeah." She smiled, "Lets."
We walked outside where we were greeted by a chauffeur, courtesy of the Carter's.
As we got in the black Mercedes, I exclaimed, "Fuck! I forgot my phone."
