Outside of the store, Evie started to rummage around in her bag for a tissue, but to no avail. All she found was her scarf. "That will have to do for now." she thought as she wrapped the scarf around her neck and pulled it over her now streaming nose. She walked out from under the awning to the surprise of a slight drizzle of rain. "Lovely" she mumbled sarcastically.

She trudged for about a block, her cold getting worse by the second. Thankfully she was nearing her apartment, and her awaiting girlfriend.

Arriving at the entrance, she felt the tickle arise again, this time stronger. "Aw shi*, hopefully I will make it." she thought as she entered the elevator. Unfortunately, just down the hall from her apartment, she started to hitch. Unable to hold it any longer, she erupted into a quiet yet messy "hitchew". Evie felt a flush of embarrassment on her face as the thick snot pooled into her scarf.
