Your Pov 

After a long tiresome journey we finally made it to the Land of Waves. I can barely see anything except for Sasuke who was standing next to me. 

"Where almost there, my friend will be waiting for us at the docks." Tazuna said. The overall journey has been pretty 'sus'. I still can't believe this guy is being hunted down. Now the question is, 'who are we going to be facing next?' 

I then feel Sasuke nodge me and pointed towards a small wasen. I see a man standing on top of the boat signaling us to hop on. I was the last to board the boat and unfortunately for me, there wasn't "enough room for me".  'Of course, it's always me.' I thought. 

"Oh come on Y/n-chan~" Kakashi said patting his lap and I puffed out my cheeks and blushed in embarrassment. I then walk on the water and sit down on Kakashi lap and the boat begins to move. I looked out off the corner of my eye and see Kakashi smirking, Sakura blushing, Naruto giggling, and Sasuke looked annoyed as usual. 

'What has my life come to?' I thought  

"The fog is so thick, you can't see anything." Sakura whispered 

"We are almost there, the bridge isn't far now." The man said. I then looked off into the distance and notice the fog beginning to vanish. 

"Hm, is that the bridge?" Kakashi said into my right ear but, was directed towards Tazuna. 

"Yes." Tazuna said. 

"WHOA! IT'S HUGE!" Naruto shouted 

"Ha, that's what she said."I whispered laughingly and Kakashi sighed.  

"Hey, quiet! I told you no noise! Why do you think we are traveling like this?! Cutting of the engine and rowing, moving through the dense fog so they don't see us."  The man said. 

"Tazuna-san... before we reach the pier, I want to ask you something. The men that are after you, we need to know why and if you don't tell us then the mission is over once we dock." Kakashi said glaring at the bridge builder.

"I guess I have no choice then to tell you. No, I want you to know the truth. Like the girl said this is beyond the mission originally assigned. The one who seeks my life is a very short man who casts a deadly shadow." Tazuna said 

"A deadly shadow?" I asked now paying attention to the conversation.

"Who is it?" Kakashi replied and Tazuna looked towards the wooden floor boards. 

"You should know him or at least you should have heard about him before. He's one of the wealthiest men in the world. The shipping magnet, Gato." Tazuna said 

Both Kakashi and I choked in shock. "Gato, of Gato transport?! " We both said. 

"Uhh, who's that?" Naruto asked while leaning forward.

'Gato is a very powerful tycoon from a famous company, that being said, that man is ruthless. He uses his power to take over villages or countries, using any means necessary.  It was one year ago when Gato first set his eyes on the Land of Waves. He came to our island and used his vast wealth to take over a transport and shipping. Anyone who stood in his way never returned.  So, this is why we must finish the bridge. This is the only way to end his reign over our village. " Tazuna replied 

"So those men in the forest, they were working for Gato." Sasuke said 

"Ok, that's doesn't make sense at all. If you knew all along that this mission was dangerous then-" I said and Tazuna held his hand up.

"Sigh, the Land of Waves is very poor, the people who are building this bridge can't pay for a A or B ranked mission. So if you end the mission once we dock, there will be no bridge. They will kill me before I reach my house." Tazuna paused 

'Oh here we go, he's going to guilt trip us isn't he?' I thought 

"Na, don't worry about it, of course my sweet, innocent, little grandson will be upset. "Grandad, Grandad, I want my Grandad!" And my poor daughter will condemn the hidden leaf ninja for abandoning her father, living her life in sorrow." Tazuna said 

I then rubbed my face and then turned around facing Kakashi. I leaned next to his left ear and whispered "We can't just leave him, it's probably for the best that we help him get the bridge built. Plus, I'm sure nothing to bad will happen, I think." 

"Well, I guess we have no choice, we'll have to keep guarding you." Kakashi sighed 

"Oh! I'm grateful!" Tazuna replied 

"We are approaching the shore." The man said 

I then felt Kakashi place his head on my left shoulder and whispered "This is going to take longer than expected isn't it?" I then grabbed his hand and nodded.  We then passed through a tunnel and entered the village.  

"Alright take me to my house in one piece." Tazuna demaded 

"Yeah, yeah, sure." I said beginning to walk forward.

As were walking I notice Sasuke walking towards Naruto. 

'hmm, well isn't this interesting?' I thought and smirked. But, unfortunately Naruto didn't catch on and ran forward shouting "Over there!"

"Naruto?! What the-" I said in shock 

"Hehe, It was just a mouse." Naruto said confidently 

"A mouse, yeah right! Everyone can see through your stupid act! It's so obvious it embarrassing!" Sakura shouted

"Naruto those are kunai knives! They're dangerous!" Kakashi shouted.

"Stop trying to scare me you-" Tazuna shouted 

"Alright, everyone calm down!" I said and walked over towards Naruto. 

"AAH! Over there!" Naruto shouted launching a kunai at my direction, which I barely dodged.

'This kid is going to give me a heart attack! Kushina-san, Minato-sensei, give me strength.' I thought 

I then walked over towards the kunai and saw a white rabbit. I looked over at Kakashi and he nodded. 

"Ah, Naruto look what you did!" Sakura shouted 

"Ah, a rabbit! I'm so sorry!" Naruto said while hugging it. 

'what is the eerie feeling?' I thought and I looked over and saw a blade heading towards us. 

"Everyone get down!" I shouted and noticed a man standing on a tree limb. 

"You, must be Zabuza Momochi." I said walking towards the tree. I then saw Naruto bolt towards us and I put my hand up and told him to stay back.  I took off my bag and grabbed my Katana. 

"Oh, Kakashi, the Copy Cat Ninja and The Grim Reaper. Ha. Now hand over the old man." Zabuza said looking down at us. 

"Hmm, I don't think that will be happening." I shouted flashing my sharingan and Zabuza smirked 

"This will be fun." Zabuza replied
