Harleen was running through Gotham, she was wearing a white doctors coat with a blue blouse and a pair of black heels. She was running from the gas that was flowing through the city, covering the ground, and rotting anything it touched. A black SUV pulled next to her when she tripped and was trying to get her breath, the door opened to reveal a new and improved Joker. He held his hand out with a sinister grin, Harleen had a horrible feeling in her gut. Her mind screamed 'no!' but she had nowhere else to run. She took his hand, he pulled her forward as if he were helping her up and placed a gun against her forehead, pulling the trigger.

Harleen scared herself awake. She jumped and sat up, her trauma from the hospital shooting was poisoning her dreams. She no longer slept like normal, instead she woke almost every night from a new nightmare.

She looked at the clock, reading 8:03am, sighed and decided that she would just get up instead of attempting at a shitty hours sleep. Looking at her phone she saw two new text messages from Kamryn.

Good morning! How are you feeling today?

Do you want to get brunch sometime this week?

Harleen smiled at the texts, she was grateful that Kamryn was checking up on her. Texting back, she asked if Kamryn wanted to come spend the night and go out; it wasn't common for Harleen to go out but she figured she almost died so why not? Harleen got out of bed and headed to the bathroom to change her gauze and clothes, her cuts had scabbed over and now the gauze was only a precaution but she was able to actually wash her hair and do everyday tasks. She was grateful for the time that the hospital gave her off though, she didn't think she would be able to go back to work right away after what happened. The day after the shooting she had found out that Chang had been shot and bled out protecting a kid from the pediatrics unit and Barnes and Florez trapped themselves in the elevator while transporting Miss. Hurengale to the OR.

By the time Harleen began making breakfast Kamryn had responded to her text agreeing to spending the night and going out. Kamryn said she would be over around six o'clock, as she still had business to take care of at the night club she owned. Kamryn owned one of the big night clubs in Gotham, Hydrate, which was known for the DJ's that she somehow got to perform every night. Harleen knew that they would never spend a night in Hydrate, Kamryn would be forced to work if she showed up. but one of their favorites was Wall Lounge. It was known for being the villains of Gotham's favorite club for its VIP rooms. One-way mirrors so that anyone in the VIP rooms could see out but no one could see in.

Harleen finished cooking her eggs and sat in the living room, she had been bored and never had this much time on her hands before. She spent the rest of her time flipping through channels and waiting for Kamryn to come over. By the time Kamryn had arrived, Harleen was antsy, to the point where she thought she might start jumping at the walls. She had already cleaned, ordered Chinese food, and picked out her dress for tonight.

"Thank God you're here, I have been so bored by myself." Harleen stated opening the door and pulling Kamryn inside.

"How are you doing?" Kamryn asked setting her bags down on one of the sofas.

"Let's not talk about that, I ordered Chinese food. I hope you still like the Kung Pao Chicken and white rice." Harleen said pulling the food out of the bag.

"Yea it's still my favorite." Kamryn laughed, she sat at one of the bar stools and pulled out her phone. "Are we gonna go to Wall Lounge or did you want to try a different place?"

"Wall Lounge is good; besides we've been going there forever and it's always fun." Harleen said pulling plates out of the cabinet.

Harleen handed a plate to Kamryn, and they both served themselves.
