Jay

It was 5:30am when I left Harleys apartment, she was peaceful when she slept. Whenever I was around she was always thinking, always trying to find some way to change something, she did it in the hospital as well. I watched as she turned over to face me, her eyebrows furrowing as I got out of bed and dressed. I pushed her hair behind her ear before leaving, closing the window quietly on my way out. Eventually she would fully be mine, I wouldn't have to worry about how I acted near her. I just didn't need all the attachments that came with women, they needed the extra time spent together, the dates, a love. It was all over the top but they couldn't just start like that, they always required a build up. Even my men would talk about it, how it was a pain for them. My men, they were always so annoying. They had no idea where I was going each night, they just knew that I had business to take care of. Eventually they would get suspicious, always poking their heads in where is wasn't needed. I risked being caught every time I came here but she wasn't ready yet to leave her old life, she wasn't ready to give up everything for love, little did she know I was slowly driving her insane, to her, love would look delusional. You need her to jump, not be pushed! My mind hissed at me, it was as if I could talk to someone else when involving the mind. Probably side effects of electroshock therapy at Arkham, but it got me to where I am now. My true self.

The others were all pushed by yours truly, if only one of them stuck. My mind stated, I gripped the steering wheel, my knuckles going stark white. I arrived back at the amusement park, barking at my men to get to work. Heading for my office I began my work from the past few days and formulated a plan for our next heist.

Harleen

Waking up, Harleen's hair was a mess and Jay was gone. He probably left before it was light out. She thought to herself, her day went by quickly and when she walked in from her shift at work she expected him to be there but he wasn't.

Maybe he's just late. Harleen thought to herself and began to cook her dinner; staying up later to see if he was going to come over but as midnight rolled around she began to doze off on the couch and decided to go to sleep. He'll come by eventually. She thought to herself as she pulled the blankets back and fell back into the quiet slumber she was previously in.

Three days, it has been three days since Jay came by and Harleen has had the worst sleep in her entire life. Who knew someone could influence my sleep that much, she thought to herself changing into leggings and a t-shirt. Harleen stared at herself in the mirror, her hair was a mess and there were bags under her eyes. She was exhausted.

"I can't keep sleeping like this." Harleen muttered to herself in the mirror.

Harleen pulled her tennis shoes on, making a decision to go find him. She wanted to sleep well but was also worried that he was hurt, Harleen headed to the parking garage and got into her car pulling up maps on her phone for directions to the park. She had only been there once but she thought she might remember how to navigate to the ride once she got there.

Harleen's hands were shaking as she parked the car and got out, she didn't know what to expect. Her heart was pounding and her hands were shaking, she didn't want to see the men he worked with. Walking through the cut down gate Harleen felt an eerie feeling crawl down her spine, she wrapped her arms around herself and kept going, trying to quickly find the correct ride that Jay had previously taken her to.

"What are you doing here?" Harleen heard from behind her, she turned to see two large men.

One had grey hair and a big nose while the other was more handsome and younger with brown full hair and a porcelain smile. They both scared her and she put her hands up.
