It was the next morning, Luke had a good night's sleep. His parents were hone. Luke's dad, William Samson, was an inventor. His mom, Jane Samson was a vice mayor, so they were always busy, but today's the weekend. His parents were in bed, watching TV. Luke came in the doorway to greet his parents. Shep & Copper followed. The Adventure Bay News was on. On the news lately there's been alot of car accidents happening, lost pets, and even stolen cars. "It just doesn't get any better. Maybe I'm just a bad vice mayor" Luke's mom whispered. "Don't say that, you're doing a great job! Accidents happen" Luke's dad replied. "I wonder who's causing this mess" Copper growled while watching TV. "Hey Lukie! Today I have a meeting with Mayor Sean Goodway, you wanna come?" Luke's mom asked. "Can I bring Copper & Shep, & play with Mr Goodway's daughter, Lilla?" Luke asked. "Of course!" She answered.
Mom, Luke, Copper & Shep walked over to town hall. Lilla Goodway came running out. "Luke, you're here!" Lilla shouted. "And I see you brought your dogs!" She added. "Lukie! Yesterday my dad bought me a stuffed Chicken, I'm gonna call her Chickaletta! I like to keep her in my purse" the 8 year old girl explains. "Pawsome!" Copper replied. "Soooo, I saw on the news this morning that there's been some bad things happening in Adventure Bay lately" Luke said. "Yeah, our law enforcement isn't that good here" She shrugs.
