"My lord, why do you carry this necklace everywhere you go?" asked Hyogo and Lord Jinsei replied with a sigh. Hyogo wanted to know the little secret about the necklace and Lord Jinsei was a bit disappointed in Hyogo and whispered "Hyogo, you clueless little monkey."

Jinsei gave in and went on telling Hyogo what is the secret behind why he is carrying that necklace to everywhere he goes and the history he has with it.

"My lord, why do you carry that necklace to every battle? It is probably worthless-"

and Hyogo was quickly stopped by Jinsei from finishing the sentence in anger and said

"Hyogo! Are you really testing my patience?!" and quickly Hyogo apologized to his master with a frightened face and his body shivering with fear by the words of his master.

"My Lord forgive me for my incompetence and disrespectful manners! I, Hyogo Ishikawa, shall commit seppuku for insulting the lord!" as he shouted with great passion and great regret.

(note: Seppuku or  in Japanese also referred to as Harakiri  is an old Japanese ritual suicide by disembowelment. This is a practice where samurai die with great honor rather than being captured by the enemy or it serves as capital punishment for samurai who committed serious offenses or, performed because they had bought great shame to themselves. Thanks Wikipedia for that information >.<)

As soon as Hyogo was determined and ready to die at this very moment Jinsei intervened with a very disappointed face "Hyogo, will you raise your head? I don't need you dying in front of me because you are an important person in this clan and you are forgiven. Now I will continue telling you why I bring this to everywhere I go." said Jinsei

Hyogo is honored and thankful for Jinsei for forgiving him. "My lord will you please continue your story as to why you are carrying that necklace?" said Hyogo with a curious look on his face.

"sigh." as Jinsei sighed with disappointment in his eyes.

"Hyogo listen carefully, just because its only a somewhat cheap necklace doesn't mean it is worthless. The value of this necklace is weighed by the emotions or memories you have with it, same goes for other items that have somewhat of low value to you." as Jinsei said with great sincerity and honesty.

"This necklace reminds me of where do I really came from and that is certainly not here. It was a gift as well from my late father and he said that to never forget the place you are from and never forget who you are. I always have moments where I nearly forgot who I am and where I am from but thanks to this necklace, I can remember that." said Jinsei with sorrow

"My lord, I'm sorry for asking this question." as Hyogo said with an apologetic look on his face.

"No. There is no need for you say sorry because I agreed willingly to tell why do I carry this necklace around me all the time. Let's just say it serves as my lucky charm and it is apart of my life here too." said Jinsei.

As soon as the story came to an end, A messenger quickly entered the chamber with grave news for Jinsei.

"My lord, the Shimazu has started making their move by marching to our direction and will proceed an attack on our castle!" said the messenger with fear

"My lord, what are your commands?" asked Hyogo.

As soon as Jinsei heard the news he thought about it very carefully but replied with great composure and a reassuring look on his face.

"Hehhhhhhh? The Shimazu? So they chose the hard way? Fine, I will give them what they want exactly is a fight that they will never forget!" shouted Jinsei with great pride.

Hyogo then added a statement that will further show his support to his lord. "I will follow you my lord to everywhere you go even through hell! I will gladly give my life for you my lord because you are the most important to us!"

The other retainers followed suit and give their lord with great support and will gladly lay down their lives for him.

"You guys! Don't you ever die on me, that is an order!" shouted Jinsei with great passion.

"Yes my lord!" replied by every retainer in the chamber including Hyogo.

"Oh my god! That was so scary! Luckily I said something meaningful and passionate before going in to battle. This well may be one of my biggest fights yet and probably the hardest that will decide who gets to rule Japan! This battle is one of the most memorable in feudal Japan and that is The Battle of Sekigahara!" as Jinsei was thinking to himself.

"This will be another roadblock for me but I will overcome every challenge possible. I will survive!"

As soon as the meeting was dismissed, Jinsei arrived in his chamber he brought out his Journal and begin writing his day.
