It's been over a year now, and Murasakibara has yet to awake.

"It's been over a year now. Man, time flies by fast." A certain redhead's voice rung through Murasakibara's room.

"Yes, now be lucky to even be here. You guys are only here because I'm allowed here. " the green haired doctor's assistant said.

"Too bad Kuroko can't be here. But I'm sure glad Kise has a modeling session. Akashi has practice, even on a Sunday." The tanned third year said.

"Now that I think about it, it's really boring without Murasakibara awake. You think he's gonna make fun of my stubble when he wakes up?" Kagami Taiga, second year, rubbed his chin. His appearance has changed quite much. He now sports a little ponytail and a stubble on his chin. Aomine just laughed.

"Yeah, I'm pretty sure he would." Midorima closed his eyes as he sighed, reminiscing through the memories of the past.

"Hey, oka-San?" The giant's smile was warm as he asked his mother.

"Yeah?"

"When do you think I'll wake up?"

"When you want to, my son."

"I don't want to leave you though."

"You don't have to afraid. I'm right next to you throughout your whole life. Now go live it."

Murasakibara smiled as he could feel the light surround him, warming up his soul. As the family of two hugged, Murasakibara could feel himself slipping away. To reality.

Kagami and Midorima were arguing about grades and jobs when they were met with a loud beeping noise going faster and faster.

"I'll go get a doctor! You two stay here!" Midorima ran out of the room, calling out for a doctor. Murasakibara's heart beat was going faster, until it was at a level of a normal person's. Aomine and Kagami spotted the giant's hand twitch as they held their breathe.
