A/N: I was watching a video about DNF and it was like a comic thingy and dream goes, "George you're a bottom" and George was all like, "am not!" And dream's all like, "I don't believe you," so George goes, "I'll make you scream my name," while like pushing dream up against a wall, and yeah it was pretty swag and fun and I just thought I'd share that with you:)
Dream's POV:
"KARL! KARL!" Nick yelled while knocking on the door to our new apartment. "Shut up, he's probably not home, text-" the door swung open and I shot my head up. "YOU'RE HERE!" The guy had fluffy brown hair and light blue eyes. "It's me, Karl," Nick's eyes lit up, and pulled him in for a hug. "I'm Clay, and that's Nick," I said, pointing to myself, then to Nick. "Cool! I'm hyped you guys are here." We grabbed our bags and shuffled inside. "There's an extra bed in my room, and a bedroom down the hall from mine with two beds," Karl told us. I looked inside the extra bedroom and smirked, no windows, no headboards, and high beds for extra storage. "This one looks good," I dumped my bags on the floor near one of the beds, then walked out to the family room. "I'm going to room with Karl, his room has like two windows and carpeting," I chuckled. "Cool, I like the other room so that works out good."
We all sat down on the couch awkwardly. "I wish George were here," Honestly, I talked the most with George in the past week, and he's really awesome. "Hah, I bet you do," Nick teased while shoving my side. "Hey, do you guys play any games?" Karl asked with a smile on his face. "Hell yeah! We love gaming," Karls face lit up and Nick giggled. "We should play together, do you play Minecraft??" Nick laughed and looked at me. "Clay here is practically the god of Minecraft," I laughed awkwardly.
"I don't know about 'god', but I guess I'm pretty good," Nick laughed and walked over to the kitchen to put some things away. "He's being humble."
"I'm going to go unpack my stuff, we can play once George gets here," I told them both. "Cool!" Nick yelled from the kitchen. I made my way down the hall to my new bedroom to look around more. It was practically empty besides two desks and two beds. The walls were light grey, and the floors were dark. It was honestly kind of ugly, but I could...probably, fix it up. I unpacked all of my clothes and put them away in the closet, eager to be done with it. After I was finished, I shoved my bags under my bed and worked to put the sheets on my bare mattress.
It took a few hours, but I was eventually able to fix up my side of the room and make it feel more like home. A burst of excitement suddenly took over my body. I hadn't given it much thought, but I'd be living here, with my best friend and these two other really cool guys. I don't have to say 'my dream is coming true' anymore because now I get to say, 'this is my dream.' That thought made me smile, which felt sweet inside.
George's POV:
After a long...long flight, we were finally on the ground. It was around 3:30 pm now, which was kind of weird. Somehow I expected to be flying in super late and only get to see my roommates tomorrow morning, but it's the middle of the day. I guess logically that should have clicked in my brain, but that's okay. It's kind of funny how I've thought about this moment over and over, but now that I'm here, everything's still new and surprising. "Mom, wake up," I shook my mom up and stood up to stretch. People were shoving past me to get out of the plane, which I didn't mind until I got elbowed in the stomach.
We got off the plane slowly and walked to the baggage area to get our things. I was super sleepy since I couldn't sleep much on the plane, and I could tell my parents were groggy since they slept practically the whole time. Dad started muttering some sort of rant about how trashy and unpolite Americans are. I agreed with him, I've spent not even an hour here and I've already been elbowed in the gut, nearly tripped, and witnessed many spit wads and homeless men.
Mom called a cab, so I walked over to a coffee shop in the airport to get my dad a coffee, and a cake pop for myself. While I was waiting I checked my phone and remembered I was going to text the guys once I got off the plane.
Georgenotfound: Just landed, I'll be there in an hour or so
Dreamwastaken: Finally! Karl, Nick, and I have been waiting all-day
I noticed that Clay was the only one online so I switched to our private chat.
Georgenotfound: No one else is online so we can talk here
We already had a lot of texts prior to this one, and I've gotten to know him the most out of all the guys. I really like him, he's nice and witty and always sends me good morning messages. I think we can grow to be really good friends.
We talked for the entire cab drive to our apartment, but as soon as we pulled up to the building, I clicked my phone off and stepped out of the car. "This is it," I mumbled to my parents, then moved to the trunk of the cab to pull my suitcases and bags out of the car. Mom placed a hand on my back and I smiled over at her. "We're proud of you," she hugged me tightly and I worked to squirm out of her grasp. "Come on, let's get you moved in. You said your roommates are all already here right?" My dad appeared behind me and stared up at the apartment door. I nodded and picked up two of my bags and started towards the door while my parents followed behind me. "I hope they're nice," I scoffed, "trust me, they're cool."
We neared the door slowly, and once we were there I realized this was my last moment to go back. After I knocked on the door, there wasn't any going back. Despite that, I hesitantly knocked on the door, eager while also terrified.
"Hey,"
