"Only one can live," Shigaraki says, gesturing to Izuku's mother and lover.
"Choose or die." He says, tossing a silver dagger to the hero.
Izuku's heart pounds.
"Choose."
The hero then looked between the two of them. His mother had been with them through thick and thin, where Y/N meant everything to them. The hero shared spectacular memories with both of them. How could he choose between them?
"Family is forever." Midoriya said, softly as they looked to his mother's direction. "Love is stronger than greed." Izuku spoke again, now looking towards Y/N
"One cannot exist without the other." The hero murmured, looking down at the silver dagger he held.
"that's why..." Midoriya paused as he dragged his fingertips gently across the sharp, silver blade.
"It will be me who dies." He said, mustering up a very faint smile.
"Goodbye, mother. Take care of yourself for me, okay? " He whispered, their eyes glossy with tears threatening to leave.
