Cafe Confessions !

It was a typical Monday afternoon, the classes of the highschool U.A had just finished for the day. They were currently getting ready to leave. The familiar H/C girl talking to her best friend, Todoroki Shoto. 

The two of them had been friends since they started school here, he was the only one Y/N had told about her crush on the green haired boy known as Midoriya Izuku.

The two of them were just getting ready to leave, when Y/N felt a tap on her shoulder. It was light and almost barely noticeable but she turned around, finding herself face to face with Midoriya.

 "Oh! Hello, Midoriya." Y/N smiled softly. "H-Hey Y/N!" Izuku nervously replied. "Did you need anything?" She asked quietly.

Izuku glanced behind him to see Todoroki nodding in support. He took a deep breath, "I was wondering if you wanted to go to a local cafe with me? To... well get to know each other?" He whispered softly.

 Y/N's smile grew, "I'd love to!" "G-Great! I'll meet you out front?" He questioned, Y/N nodded in agreement. Izuku smiled and walked past the two of them.

"Sounds like you got a date." Shoto said slyly. "Oh shut up, Shoyo Totoro." She replied, laughing at the nickname she gave him. 

"I told you not to call me that." He mumbled, giving a small playful nudge to her shoulder. "Yeah, yeah." She laughed. She gathered her stuff, along with Shoto and started making their way to the front.

There, she saw Izuku waiting and quickly bid Todoroki fair well, both of them exchanging a short, polite bow. "Izuku!" She called, rushing up to him. 

"Sorry for keeping you waiting!" She smiled, "it's okay, L/N! Ready to go?" He asked shyly. Y/N nodded in reply and started walking with him.

Once they arrived at the cafe, Izuku opened the door for her, "after you." Y/N smiled, doing a short bow and thanked him. 

"No need to bow.." he mumbled softly. "Oops, sorry!" Y/N chuckled nervously and walked into the cafe, the scent of coffee immediately filling both of their senses.

The two of them sat down in a small booth in the corner, after ordering their drinks at the front. Two milk teas. "So... how have you been?" Izuku asked Y/N happily. 

"I've been pretty good! Been trying to control my quirk better, it's been draining but I can say I'm improving!" She said cheerfully.

 "That's great! I too have been training... but I'm not sure if it's paying off as much as I'd like it to." He sighed quietly.

 Y/N shook her head, "I'm sure it is! Besides, your fighting technique is amazing! I'm sure you don't even need to practice, you're a natural!" Y/N smiled. Izuku blushed at the compliment, "th-thank you." He muttered.

The two of them kept chatting till their drinks came. They both thanked the waiter before returning to their talking, sipping their drinks in the meantime.

 Izuku cleared his throat, "so... you're probably wondering why I asked you to come here with me so suddenly..." He said. Y/N couldn't help but nod, the topic peaking her interest.

"Well... I didn't think it would be this hard to tell you... so I might as well get it out there." Izuku hesitantly took a shaky breath in. 

"Y/N, I can't help but think you're really amazing. You've become a big inspiration for me to become the best I can be. And... well... I... I... I like you... a lot." He mumbled. 

Y/N looked at him surprised, this gave Izuku the idea she didn't feel the same.

"I understand if you don't feel the same way... but I just wanted to let you know. I'll take my leave now." He said sadly, getting up and getting ready to leave. 

He started to walk away when she grabbed his hand, pulling him into a tight hug. "I like you too.." Y/N said quietly.

"Y-You do?" He asked, slightly shocked. She nodded, "I do.." Izuku teared up, but these were happy tears. 

"I'm so glad..." He whispered, wrapping his arms around her smaller frame and hugging her close.
