Saturday morning, James came downstairs angry. He said he wasn't about to let Snivellus ruin a relationship. Especially not mine.

"I've got the spell." He said taking a seat next to me.

"What is it?" I asked.

"Levicorpus. It's basically the human Wingardium Leviosa." He said.

"Well, I hope it works. Here, practice." I said moving forward.

"Nah, I'll practice with your boyfriend. If he falls, it'll be payback for sleeping with my sister."

"Fine." Sirius said.

James then started practicing on Sirius until he finally got it. Sirius had a few wounds from falling but he didn't mind. He acted strong.

After quite a bit he layed on my lap "Y/n, tell me I'm pretty." He said.

I ran my hand through his hair "You're pretty fucking annoying, that's what you are." I smiled getting up making him fall on the couch.

"James, you finally got the spell, be more happy." Sirius said getting up.

"Sirius, you know I hold grudges." James replied.

"Not with your bestfriend you don't." I smiled. He rolled his eyes but chuckled shaking his head. That's the James I know.

"Alright, let's go find that bastard." He stood up proud.

"He's going to get himself killed." I whispered to Sirius.

"100 percent, but it's James Potter after all." He shrugged.

We walked over to the courtyard to find Severus sitting by a tree reading a book. He looked.. calm?

"Hey Snivellus!" James shouted.

"What do you want?" Severus frowned.

"A little bird came flying on my window, told me a little plan of yours." He smirked. "But you're not the only one with plans."

Severus got up pulling out his wand as James shouted "expelliarmus!"

"Nice one, James!" Sirius cheered.

"Levicorpus." He said once again. Severus was now hanging upside down being carried in the air by his ankle. Then Lily ran out worried.

"Stop it! Leave him alone!" She shouted.

"Ah, Evans. Don't make me hex you." James replied.

"I said let him go!" Lily shouted once again.

"Fine. There you go. You're lucky Evans was here Snivellus-" James started.

"I don't need help from filthy little mudbloods like her!" He shouted in anger. Everyone around gasped at his words.

"Fine. I won't bother in the future." She said. "And I'd wash your pants if I were you, Snivellus." She walked away.

He looked at all of us furious. We could tell he was about to cry. I ran after Lily to make sure she's okay.

"Everything alright, Lils?" I asked.

"No! Nothing's alright!" She said tears rolling down her eyes. "I mean I've heard him call others that but I thought I was the exception."

"Hey it's alright, he doesn't deserve your tears." I said wiping them off.
