Chapter 10

I opened my eyes in the morning and the first person I saw was Damien . He was sleeping on the couch next to my bed . He could've just went to his room from the window , but instead he stayed here , next to me .

"Hey"
"Hi , did I wake you up?"
He shakes his head as a no as I smile .
I missed it , I missed his voice , his face , the sweetness he shows me , I've missed him .
He leans towards me and hugs me. He raps his hands around my waist and mine were on his shoulders.

"Can I come in?"
"Yeah"
It was grandma . "I thought I'd bring you breakfast"
"You didn't have to I'm fine really . But thanks." .
She then left and Damien looked at me saying "Did they tell you why they did that to you?"
"Who?"
"Jacob and Penelope"
"Yeah .." I told him everything and I noticed that he was filled with anger. I put my hands on his face hoping he'll calm down. And he closed his eyes taking a deep breath.

He takes my hand and we left my room to go downstairs. We sat and chatted with the family for a while and then Damien looks at grandpa and asks him "Mr White , I'd love to take your granddaughter for a date tonight if you give us your permission" he asked my grandpa to take me out . Aww .
"Sure , you guys go have fun . But , you better bring her back before midnight"

Damien smiles and insists on helping me up to my room "I'm going to wait outside for you to get ready" .
I closed the door to get dressed .

I walked out of the room and Damien was still waiting at the door "you could've at least sat down " he just ignores this and smiles "you look good"
"Thanks"

We soon left the house and I asked him several times where are we going but he didn't answer all he said was that it's a surprise . He raised the music's volume and we enjoyed our car ride .

"Come on now please tell me"
"I told you it's a surprise"
"Please"
"No just wait"
I hate surprises . I hate waiting ! Why don't you tell me already Damien uh.

We arrived , he parked the car and he blindfolded me . "Oh come on!"
"What?"
"Did you really have to blindfold me?"
"Yes"
He takes my hand to help me walk correctly . The ground was moving! It really was moving ! I took my blindfold off . We were on a boat ! Oh my god . How sweet . "When did you do all that?"
"I called a friend and he set this up for us"
He sat next to me and we ate . After a while he took his shirt off and jumped in the water "Damien!"
"I'm still alive don't worry"
"Why did you jump in"
"It's a hot day . Come on in "
"No what if we drown"
"Do you know how to swim? "
"Well yes"
"Then jump . If you drown I'll be here to save you"
"We didn't bring any spare clothes"
"It's fine we can wait for them to dry . Jump!"

I took my boots off and jumped in . He wrapped his hands around me "See ! It isn't so bad right?"
"Yeah , right"
I wrapped my hands around his neck and he gently lays a kiss on my lips . I just wish this moment would last forever . I don't want to let go . I kissed him back . My hair was all wet and it got on my face he took his hand and softly puts the front pieces behind my ears.

"I'm so lucky to have you in my life . You know?"
"I'm happy to have you in my life as well " after saying that he comes closer for another kiss .

It started to get dark he helped me back on the boat and jumped in after me . We cuddled for a while enjoying our time together . Then went back home since my grandparents wanted me home tonight . I didn't want Damien to leave . My grandpa allowed him to stay over . We cuddled all night watching Netflix and then fell asleep in each other's arms .
