Hey there so...*dodges computer*
Was that really necessary?! Anyways sorry I wasn't updating I was busy with other stuff and got sick for a bit and just needed to play with my dog. As well as the fact that I was downright swamped with homework and have had some rough patches. So here's the next chapter!
----------------------------------------------
Lily's POV
I felt tears prick my eyes and looked down finally slumping back into my seat, staring out the window glumly. All I want is to be friends with him, no matter what it turns into or doesn't I just want to have him be there for me like he used to be. I know I was a little bit harsh, but I.."I'm not horrible am I?" I whisper as a tear finds its way out of my eyes.
"No, Oh Lily you're wonderful! Don't listen to a single thing that insufferable twat tells you. If he can't suck it up and realize that it was incredibly creepy for him to watch you like that then he's not the one for you." Alice said wrapping her arms around me.
I wish he was the one for me. Wait what?!
I sighed glancing out the window my mood worsening when I see the familiar landscape of London approaching. Three months of no magic, a boring birthday and insulting comments from Tuney. I'm not even going to mention the fact that I will be spending my spare time worrying myself to death about James.
I let my head fall onto the windowsill dreading the summer.
Time flash!!!!!!(using the always reliable method of Tardis.)
I carefully untied a letter from a grey owl, patting its head and feeding it a treat.
The envelope was heavy, heavier than last time at least. I ran my thumb over the emerald green ink and flipped it over. Tearing through the seal pulled out three, not two, slips of parchment. I didn't think much of it, but glanced into the envelope when I noticed it still held most of its weight.
I gasped when I spotted a gleaming badge. I gingerly picked it up, grinning stupidly. I was Head Girl. ME.
I quickly glanced over the supplies list and other annual stuff. I also read a letter from Dumbledore explaining how I would have a separate dormitory and other stuff.
"Mom! Dad! I'm-oh." I sniffled. "Wherever you are, I made Head Girl."
I shook my head, grabbing a quill, some ink, and a piece of parchment. Tuney lives with her stupid loaf of bread boyfriend, Vernon, so I am able to keep all my 'freak' stuff outside of a locked trunk hidden in my closet.
Alice,
Hey. So I was planning on heading to Diagon Alley to pick up school supplies on the 10th. Any chance you can join? I have a big surprise! And make sure to tell the other girls to meet me there if they can.
Lily
I folded up my letter and tied it to the foot of the owl that hadn't left yet. Patting its head one more time, I turned away to head upstairs.
***********(this is from now on time flash symbol)
I charged through the Brick wall, unable to keep an incredibly stupid grin off my face. This was going to be AWESOME.
