Kochi So-yeon is not a woman you want to mess with. Sleeping in class is one thing but being late to her training is a serious offense. Once upon a time ago, Chaeng and I just met, we were both excited to get to know each other. We have so many things in common and we mostly sang along to her playlist which she made 'just cause'. Time ran so fast that we would end at dawn and that time I had an early practice session for a competition. Kochi So-yeon was my coach and manager.5 am is the time to beat though I arrived at the dance studio at quarter to 6. At first, I thought Kochi was fine and the others did not mention a thing while giving me pity looks.
Once practice was over Kochi made me stay and dance for another 2 hours without breaks and water. While she was on her laptop watching me and correcting if I have mistakes. I was really tired so I had multiple do overs.
"Now, do you understand how important time is?" She said approaching me. "It does better to be late and not show up at all but Lisa," She paused, "not in my class or in this industry. Your we're 45 minutes late and during that time someone has already surpasses your level."
"Time matters Lisa. You came here for one reason to reach your dreams and being tardy was not one of them. Life is a competition especially in this school and don't take anything for granted." She turned around going to the door. "Clean the floor and turn off the lights when you leave."
"And Lisa."
"Yeah."
"Good work today."

The rain was heavy, and the wind is afflicting the trees. Lighting cracked the sky sending a loud and sharp sound. A startling movement almost imbalance me from where I am standing but due to my strong legs which I earned during my years of dancing I was save or we were save. I breath thinking who could be so reckless. I glanced down annoyed at the person almost knocked me over.
"U..unnie." The pestering of annoyance suddenly vanished.
My voice became lucent, and my lungs stopped working. If the rain was heavy, my head is much more. A shacked wave passed through my spine which cased me to shiver. Jennie unnie was tightly closed and her hands was on my clothes, gripping it like her life was depending on it.
Another blaring thunder shocked the whole building while Jennie unnie pushed harder that made me step back. I pulled her nearer to me, she was shaking as I embraced her back as if I could protect her from the danger. I was a few inches taller than her which she sank into my arms naturally."Its alright unnie." I caress her back with my free hand. "Don't be scared Jennie unnie, I'm here." I said in my softest voice.
We stayed like that for another moment when the screeching of lighting had mellowed down, although the rain unchanged. Jennie unnie slowly peered her eyes open and met mine.
Her eyer were soft, pure, and brown like spring after a long winter. She usually wears it with a fierce and guarded glare. Today was different. It was hypnotizing but at the same time irresistibly captivating.
An urge came to me out of nowhere. A courageous act to glanced down to her blush pink lips. How peculiar it was that it was alluring me out of touching it with my....
I licked my lips ignoring the fact that my insides about to explode against my own sanity.
"I'm sorry." I finally restrained myself and regained my personal space as well.
