*TW SELF HARM*

Anna's POV:

Everyone went silent. All you could hear were quiet breaths of the people in the classroom.

Tears started to form in my eyes and soon began to roll down my face slowly.

Everyone was in shock, who would want to kill Mr.Miles all he's ever been is nice to us. I admit sometimes he was too friendly but still.

He was so young. He had so much ahead of him. I remember him telling me one day about how he was thinking about modeling.

He would've made it big in the modeling industry. Green eyes, 6'3, defined jawline, defined cheekbones, perfect facial structure, fit body, nice hair, and now he's just gone.

I look over to Sab and Zack and they're tearing up as well. I turned to look at Jersey and she was just staring at the front of the classroom. Emotionless.

Her face was so blank. She sat there looking forward not even blinking. I didn't know what she was thinking or feeling but I've never seen her like this before, it was worrisome.

Maybe she was just in shock, I mean we all were. Imagine coming to school one day and getting the news that the teacher everyone loved was suddenly murdered in their own house.

I gently reached my arm over to her desk and placed my hand on top of hers hoping to get a reaction, a blink of her eyes, a movement of her body, anything at all.

She finally snapped out of whatever that blank look was and looked back at me as tears were rolling down my face.

She turned her hand around and interlocked fingers with mine. With her other hand she caressed my cheek softly wiping away my tears.

She gave me a soft smile but the emotion looked so forced, like thousands of thoughts were pumping through her head at once.

Something was off about her, I could tell. She looked so exhausted and her eyes weren't as vibrant as usual.

I wanted to help her and do something, anything, but I've never seen her like this before.

Usually I could read how she's feeling just by looking at her face and know exactly what to do and how to help, but not this time.

I started to feel someone's eyes staring at me but I tried to ignore it until it just got too uncomfortable. I finally turned over and saw Blue looking at me emotionless as well.

His face was different though. He didn't look in shock, he didn't look like a million thoughts were rushing through his head, he just looked blank. He didn't know Mr. Miles too well so maybe that's why.

The security guard spoke up, "Whoever did this to Mr.Miles unfortunately still hasn't been caught-"

Her words were cut off by many students gasps and worried reactions.

"W- W- Wait I promise you all are safe, There are security all over campus and police patrolling the whole school. We won't let anything happen to you all." She quickly proceeded to say.

It didn't help much though. Students were already freaking out and whispers ran through the classroom.

After about 30 minutes of sitting hearing students gossiping, anxiously tapping their feet, hitting pencils against the desk, soft whimpers being released followed by quiet tears, the bell finally rang.

The rest of the day went by so slowly but finally came lunch.

The word must've gotten around because everyone in the lunch room looked either anxious, nervous, depressed, or shocked.
