Jungkook scrunched his tiny nose as he could feel something soft and slightly wet placing themselves all over his face.
Must be snails...he half consciously thought before hearing slight chuckles right by his ear. His dolly eyes revealed his chestnut colored orbs that landed on a honey painted chest.
What is that? He thought as he was still confused. Last time he remembers he was in a dark room tied to a chair, or was he? Jungkook's train of thoughts were interrupted by a deep voice that was lower than the ocean, smooth with a hint of grogginess.
"Morning angel." Taehyung murmured with a playful yet soft voice, still not over how delightful Jungkook looked in the morning. The king exploded at Jungkook's clueless expression. His laugh making his stomach hurt. The shy boy covered his face as he giggled, trying to hide the fact that it wasn't affecting him how we woke up with Taehyung by his side, laughing his ass off because of him.
"God, you'd be the reason of my death angel." Jungkook smiled as he was happy this wasn't all a dream. If the universe gave him this opportunity to change his life, he'd take it with no second thoughts.
As both boys calmed down from their little morning time, they went to have breakfast. Taehyung was happy he wasn't going to eat breakfast alone which was the reason he hated mornings. For Jungkook, this was a whole new thing. Ever since his mother died, he no longer ate breakfast, no longer smiled or felt light in his heart. But all of that was back now.
They took seats as the table was filled with omelets and sandwiches stuffed with meat and vegetables. Each had a sweet cup of green tea with slices of lemon to give it a fruity taste. The room wasn't quiet anymore as it was filled with chat and laughter. The two sweet boys were conversing in joy.
The atmosphere felt much lighter with birds chirping songs by the giant windows. The silky curtains delicately flowed as the spring wind has woken up to deliver the smell of flowers and pollen into each room of the castle.
The king and his angel wasted no time leaving the giant castle and coming outside. It would be a shame not to see the beauty that spring brings every year.
"Look, a bunny!!!" Jungkook pointed at the little fluff of ball bouncing around the garden, it's ears poking out of the bushes of daisies. Jungkook ran around the garden with his arms spread wide, his giggles filled the whole place.
"ACHEEE" his tiny nose couldn't keep up with the pollen flying around the air. Taehyung's mouth felt like it would rip apart from smiling so wide.
In his eyes, Jungkook resembled a 5 year old just enjoying his life without all the worries of the world.
"Careful angel." Taehyung caught Jungkook who was about to fall because he saw a deer not far away. It's long and elegant legs moved so gracefully as he bent down to chew on some grass. The plant looking ever so bright and green as it filled the garden with it's sweet aromat. The sunlight made the deer's fur bright gold, showing it's natural beauty for everyone to see.
Jungkook turned around to comment about the deer but was met with a sight of a bouquet. It contained each kind of flower that existed in the king's garden as Taehyung picked the most pretty and colorful ones for him.
Taehyung signalled Jungkook to take them and he did. His porcelain fingers attaching themselves around the stem and slightly touching Taehyung's fingers.
"Thank you." he smiled with his eyes crinkling in happiness. His mouth formed a big smile with two set of teeth, resembling a bunny. He pecked the king's cheek to show that he enjoys getting small pretty gifts. Jungkook kept his lips there to tease Taehyung as he loved seeing him flustered.
They spent rest of their day hanging out and bonding with nature. Both of their minds were filled with each other, all other worries long forgotten.
It's days like these when you actually get to know what life feels like. When you can let go of everything and relax your running mind for once.
