Mira's POV:

It has been 3 months since I joined the Ghost crew and was reunited with my children. I was sitting on the ramp watching Ezra's training, I looked behind me and saw Sabine coming out of the Ghost.

"Guys we got a mission! We need everyone in the main room!" She yelled before beginning to walk back inside. "We'll be there in a minute!" Kanan yelled back. I got up and went inside. I sat down with everyone else while we waited for Kanan and Ezra.

They finally came in after a few minutes. "What's the mission Hera?" Kanan asked as he sat down. "So, we have to rescue a prisoner from the Spire on Stygeon Prime." Hera Explained. "Who's this prisoner?" Kanan asked. "Fulcrum told me she is a Jedi." She explained.

We went over the plan a few times. "Ok everyone, we should all get some rest before the mission." Kanan said. We all went to our cabins.

I woke up and went into the main room and saw Kanan, Hera, Zeb, and Sabine. I sat down. "Morning Mira." Hera said kindly. "Good morning." I said with a smile. Trix, Ezra, and Kyle all walked in and sat down.

We went over the plan again. "We're almost at the Spire. I'll go pilot the ship, it can't stay on auto pilot the whole time." Hera said before heading to the cockpit.

Everyone went off to different parts of the ship to do whatever. I stayed in the main room and took a data pad out of my pocket. I had managed to keep it hidden when i was captured by the empire. The data pad was full of pictures and journal entries. The pictures were mostly from when Trix, Kyle, and Ezra were all little kids. And i wrote most of the journal entries while I was captured.

Trix walked in and sat next to me. "Hey mom. What's that?" She asked. "It's a data pad with some pictures and journal entries." I explained. "Cool. Do you have any pictures of me, Ezra, Kyle, Dad, and you before you and dad were taken away?" She asked. "Tons." I said and we began to look through pictures.

After a while we heard Kanan yell. "The mission is starting in a minute! We need everyone to come here!" Me and Trix got up and went to meet everyone else. "Everyone ready?" Kanan asked. "Yep." We all said at once. We were an awesome team.

~Time Skip~

The mission was going wrong. It turned out to be a trap. The Inquisitor showed up, he stabbed Ezra in the side with his lightsaber. Kanan was fighting him while me, Trix, and Kyle were helping Ezra.

The Inquisitor force pushed Kanan over our heads, it knocked him out. I grabbed my lightsaber and began to fight the Inquisitor while Trix helped Ezra and Kyle tried to wake up Kanan.

I force pushed the Inquisitor and ran to everyone else. I saw Kyle helping Kanan up and Trix helping Ezra. We ran back to the ship as fast as we could. "Guessing it was a trap... Again." Sabine said as we ran to the ship. "Yep." I said.

We got aboard and helped Ezra and Kanan sit down on the ground. We had put some bombs in the Spire. Sabine's detonator fell off her belt and activated, the bombs began to explode. The Ghost began to shake back and forth from the force of the explosion.

We all held onto something because the ramp wasn't closed yet. The Ghost shook causing Ezra's grip on the ladder loosen. He lost his grip and went flying towards the open ramp. I grabbed his hand before he flew out, but his hand was slipping out of my grasp.

I lost my grip on his hand and he was flying out of the Ghost. "Ezra!" I screamed as tears began to run down my face. The ramp finally closed. "Ezra... He's gone." Trix said as we all stared at the closed ramp. "No..." Kanan whispered to himself. "My little bro is gone, again." Kyle said as we continued to stare at the closed ramp.

"How'd the mis- Wait, where's Ezra?" Hera said as she saw us all staring at the closed ramp. "He's... Gone." Is all i could think of to say. "What?!" She asked as she began to cry as well. I fell to my knees and covered my face with my hands and began to cry harder.

Kanan's POV:

I could feel Ezra, through the force, begin to fade away, I couldn't tell if he was just unconscious or if... He was dead. 'I can't believe he is gone. He can't be gone!' I thought as we all continued to cry.

3rd Person POV:

On the frozen ground lay an unconscious padawan. If it wasn't for the slight movement from breathing, you would think he was dead. The snow around the young boy was no longer a nice bright white, but instead it was a red color because it was stained with blood.

Around the boy lay dead Stormtroopers, and debris. A ship comes and gets the surviving Stormtroopers, but they don't even notice the dying boy, and even if they did notice they probably wouldn't care anyway.

The boy is partially covered in snow, freezing and bleeding to death, with no one to help.
