Almost One Year Later
Ezra's POV:

It's been almost a whole year since I joined my friend's crew. I woke up and noticed Jack wasn't in his bunk. 'Must already be up.' I thought, usually I wake up before him. I walked out of my room and into the main room, I saw a small cake on the table. I heard a noise, I looked around and saw nothing.

Suddenly everyone jumps through the door to the cockpit and yelled. "Happy birthday, Ezra Bridger!" I smiled. "Thanks guys." I said as we all sat down at the table and Lydia began to cut the cake and give us all a piece. "Wow, this is delicious." I said as i continued to eat my piece of cake. "I made it myself." Lydia said. "Wow." I said.

We sat and talked for a while. "Since its Empire day I thought we could cause some trouble at today's parade." Lydia said with a smirk. "You guys up for that?" She asked. We all knodded.

That evening we went to the parade. We kind of blew up some stuff. "Anyone got a plan on how to get out of here?" Ellie asked. "I do, follow me!" I said. I brought them to my house, just like how I had brought Kanan and Sabine here last year.

We all walked inside. "I remember when we were little and we would hangout here." Crystal said as she sat on the couch. "I miss those days." Lydia said and she sat next to Crystal on the couch. "I'll be right back." I said as I moved the stool and went into the basement.

I went over to the old radio station that my parents had used. I remembered the holo disk Sabine took from down here and then cleaned it up and gave it to me as a birthday gift. I sighed. I heard a noise behind me, I turned around to see Jack. "Hey Ez, you ok?" He asked, I didn't notice until then that I had been silently crying.

"You miss your old crew and your family don't you. I know how you feel." He said as I wiped the tears off my face. "I brought them here last year on this exact day one year ago, but it feels like it's was just yesterday. I remember how surprised Sabine and Kanan were. I also remember how surprised the rest of the crew was after we told them what happened." I said quietly as tears fell down my face.

I wiped the tears off my face and headed for the later. "We should go back with everyone else." I said as I climbed the ladder. After Jack got up I put the stool back over the ladder. "We can hide in Ezra's old house." I heard a voice say from outside, Kanan. "Everyone hide." I said quietly. We all hid.

In walked Kanan, Sabine, Zeb, Trix, And Kyle. "We can stay here till things calm down." Kanan said. "Man, I miss Ezra." Sabine said as they all sat on the couch. "We all do, but obviously he doesn't want to be found. I just hope he is safe." Kanan said as his eyes began to tear up.

"I miss the kid, no matter how annoying he was, he was like a little brother." Zeb said. Trix and Kyle just stayed quiet. Suddenly I lost my balance and fell out of the closet I was hiding in. "Perfect." I mumbled so they wouldn't hear. "Ezra?!" Trix said as she ran up and hugged me when I got back up.

"Ezra?! Where have you been?! We were worried!" Sabine said. "Ya kid, where have you been?! And why did you leave?!" Zeb asked. "Guys, come out." I said, everyone came out of there hiding spots and came over to me. "Wait, Ellie, Crystal, Lydia, and Jack?!" Kyle asked surprised.

"Yep, that's us." Crystal said awkwardly. "Wait a second, are you in a crew with them?" Kanan asked. "Yeah." I answered. "Why? Why did you leave to join them?" Trix asked me. "Guys, I had a vision, and it was something I needed to prevent from happening." I explained. "What could have been so bad that you left?" Sabine said. "I don't want to talk about it." I said looking away.

"It looks like it's calmed down outside, let's go." I said as I walked past my old crew and towards the door. "It was this or death." I said as I opened the door to leave. I opened to see guess who, the Inquisitor. I jumped back. Me and everyone in my crew grabbed their lightsabers and ignited them. Lydia's was purple, Ellie's was yellow, and Crystal and Jack both had green lightsabers.

"Oh look, it's the padawans of the Jedi I've taken care of, and there newest member, the runaway padawan." The inquisitor ignited both blades on his lightsabers. "Wait, what?!" Kanan asked in shock. "I'll take him, you guys go." I said, Kanan had now ignited his lightsaber, Sabine had her blasters, and Zeb had his Bo-rifle.

"We ain't you." Crystal said. "Just go!" I said as I began to battle the Inquisitor. They left the room and headed for the back door. "You guys to." I said to my old crew. "We ain't leaving." Kanan said. I looked at him. "Please just go." I said before refocusing on the battle. They left.

We continued to battle. He managed to hit me in the arm, causing me to fall to my knees in pain as my arm began to bleed. I got back up, ignoring the pain. "Join the dark side, boy. Or die!" He said with an evil grin on his face. "I will never join you!" I yelled.

Suddenly he managed to hit me in the leg, causing me to fall again, but this time I couldn't get back up. I had dropped my lightsaber and the Inquisitor kicked it away. "Ready to die, boy?" He asked as he put his lightsaber to my throat. Suddenly there was a loud noise as the door opened and in came my friends. Crystal and Jack distracted the Inquisitor, while Ellie and Lydia helped me.

We all ran out of the building. We jumped on some speeders that someone had left unattended. We managed to get back to the ship pretty easily. "You ok, Ez?" Ellie asked as they helped me to the medbay. "Yeah, I'll be fine." I responded. Once as we got to the medbay I laid on a bed and Lydia wrapped my leg and arm where I had been hit by the Inquisitor's lightsaber.
