Cinder POV
"Okay, Percy, Annabeth. Test them please.” The man in the wheel chair said.
"Woah, woah, woah! Testing? You didn't even give me time to study?!" Thorne yelled.
"We're not going to hurt you. We just need to know what you see when we hold up curtain objects." the blonde spoke.
"Are we not going to introduce our selves?" the green eyed boy questioned.
"Oh, right sorry, I'm Annabeth, this is Percy," She gestured to her self and the green eyed boy.
I looked expectantly at the boy from earlier. "Nico di Angelo." Nothing else escaped his lips just the short remark that was his name.
"I am Chiron, now, children please just answer honestly and answers will come your way." the man in the wheelchair chair spoke with a voice you just can't not trust.
"Okay, so first off what is this?" The boy, Percy, held up a...Uh...old day writing utensil?
"A ball point pen, but how did you come across one? They are highly outdated and are only rarely seen on display." this was Kai.
"Uh...okay... anyway how 'bout now?" he then un-capped the pen. I gasped, I was a sword. I was met with similar reply's.
"Aces!" Thorne
"What?" Scarlet
Another gasp from Cress and Kai
"You just un-capped a pen." Wolf spoke with his deep voice.
"Wait you mean you don't see that?! Aces and Spades you are blind, it's a sword if you can't tell?!" Thorne said his disbelief littering his words.
"A sword? Thorne, you expect me to believe that just by un-capping the pen, it turned into a sword?"
Percy let out a low whistle "Okay that's a lot of newbies."
"Please come with us, uh...sorry didn't quite catch your names." Annabeth said.
"You don't know who I am? Who he is?!" I said the last part jabbing my thumb at Kai.
"We don't, if we did we wouldn't be asking." Wow, this was a change. Now the question was do we tell then our real names? We don't have a ship to escape on, but it would be pretty easy to take out three teenagers (even the one with the sword) and a man in a wheelchair. Wait, wheelchair? He should have artificial legs, like my foot, or maybe he is against cyborgs...
"I'm Cinder." There, said it, no going back now.
"Okay Cinder, and...?" Annabeth said while waving her hand in the air expectantly.
"Captain Thorne at your service." He said with a flourish.
"I'm Cress." as she said this she popped out from behind Thorne.
"I'm Scarlet, this is Wolf." As she spoke Wolfs name she patted his arm.He mumbled a reply.
"Prin- I mean Emperor Kai." He said regal manner.
"Wait a minute, are you saying we have an emperor, a captain," Percy said throwing his hands in front of him in a 'Wait-up' fashion, "and a guy named wolf?" He looked at the girl called Annabeth, she only rolled her eyes.
"You have met royalty and captains before seaweed brain."
"Oh yeah, I forgot. Hey Nico your royalty right?"
Nico looked at Percy and said, "I'm not sure, my official title is King or Prince, but I don't think I count as royalty." Annabeth rolled her eyes again and turned back to us.
"We are pretty far from camp and it looks like you might need some medical attention." Medical attention? I looked around and saw that Cress had a few scrapes and she was favoring her left ankle. Scarlett was heavily leaning on Wolf, and Kai had his arm wrapped snugly around his torso. "So the injured will have to go with Nico to the infirmary."
"Why does it matter who we go with? And how do we know we can trust you? Are you using Glamours? Where even are we? Your clothes suggest the old days, but that can't be right." Cress spoke in a very rushed manner.
"Please we will answer your questions when we get back to camp." The older man said, "Nico, will shadow travel the injured to the infirmary. We will have our best medic, Will, look at you."
Nico stepped forward. Wolf grabbed Scarlett and put her behind him, "What do you think your doing?"
Scarlett spoke up from behind him, "Wolf, I am fairly capable of fending for myself." He then stepped to the side while still supporting half her weight.
"It's called shadow travel, it is a fast form of travelling via shadows. It will feel very uncomfortable for you since it's your first time." He chuckled, "If we hurry I might not get into too much trouble." He held out his hand, Cress was the first to grab it, Kai and Scarlett held on to cress's. (A/N how would you write her name as a possessive?)
Then they dissolved into the shadows.
