"Psssst. Kiera, why is Daphne in her bad mood? What happened?" I asked.
"Well, she's brokenhearted. I don't know who the guy is." Kiera informed me.
"Whoever that guy is, i'm gonna make him pay for what he did! I swear!" I said with gritted teeth.
"Relax, girl. We're going to have some chitchat later, okay? But first, I have a date. Bye girls." Krissy butted in.
"Oh by the way, Anikka, Daphne,I want you to meet someone later." said Kiera.
"Another blind date?" Daphne and I asked.
"Well, uhm, yes. Are you mad?"
"We would never be mad at you. But promise us that this will be the last. Okay?" I said to her.
"Okay. I won't let you down, Anikka. And for you, Daph, the boy you'll be meeting was one of my classmates in high school."
"High school? What year?" asked Daphne.
"First year and second year." Well, uhm. Do you know, Xander?" Kiera asked.
"Really? Xander Asuncion?" I asked.
"Yes. ..." Kiera replied.
I wasn't able to hear the other things she was saying because somebody bumped on me. Someone...as handsome as the one whose holding me right now.

"Oh. I'm sorry. I'm in a hurry. Are you alright?" he asked.
Well. Well, well. if his voice wasn't as husky as she had imagined.

He just gave me a smile and left.
That was when I realized Kiera and Daphne was gone. I felt relieved when I remembered the place we needed to go. So I walked and walked until I got there. They were both apologetic when they saw me.
