Robot In A Box

   There was once a robot who was really important the robot was one of the first steps of mankind to technology but as time passed new inventions sprouted and soon enough the robot was forgotten. Being a robot the robot didn't felt anything, the robot just felt empty and felt like something is missing, but the robot didn't mind it, It was a robot after all. The robot not understanding the pain of being forgotten remained confused and because of that, it turned itself into a metal box hoping that someday when he wakes up all the pain will go away. Then someone saw the robot, and he thought “Maybe I should put this box in the storage where the other useless stuff is” and so he did, the robot was sealed into the “useless storage” until one day a girl came wandering into the useless storage, she was looking for comfort to relieve her sadness the girl told herself all the bad things that happened to her, but she didn't know that the robot was there and that the robot was listening to her because of her cry the robot awakened the girl screamed because she was frightened, but she recognized the robot and calmed down “I know you! You're the robot from 20 years ago I remember seeing you on the television when I was 3 years old” The robot who just awakened felt relieved that someone still remembers it. The robot felt like it needs to repay the girl, so it comforted the girl and gave the girl advice. The robot's advice was so effective, so the girl came day after day seeking the robot's advice because the robot's advice is effective the girl found true happiness and one day the girl never came back. “Where's the fun now?” The robot said, “I never knew that I can feel human emotions”,why didn't I realized and understood my pain immediately” but even after realizing that itself can get sad and lonely too it never gave up waiting for the girl and after weeks and months of waiting the girl did come back, the robot felt happy, but the robot didn't know that the girl only came back because she wanted to thank the robot and tell the robot her last goodbye. “Thank you for all the things you did to help me and sorry, but I'm never coming back here I already have a family who loves and appreciates me, and we already moved away it's inconvenient for me to always come here it's too far” and so the girl left. The robot didn't notice that tears are coming down from his eyes, it wiped its tears and said “Who knew robots can cry tears too” feeling sad it decided to shut itself again but before shutting itself the robot said “I know I'm only a tool but at least I felt happy being your tool and don't worry this time I won't wish for the pain to go away because this pain is the only way to remember the only human who remembered me” (robot's eyes is flickering.....initiating shut down 3,2,1....... after that the robot never woke up ever again)
