Yeonjun walked over toward the bed and watched the man peacefully sleeping.
He looks so cute. What am I saying? I'm just confused because he looks so feminine.

Yeonjun brushed the bangs out of his face and to the side.
His skin is so soft. It's like a fluffy mochi. Is he real?

Yeonjun was startled when the other opened his eyes to stare back at him.

"What're you doing?" Beomgyu asked; Yeonjun almost tripped backward by the sudden voice.

"Sorry. Your hair was in your face." lied Yeonjun, almost stumbling over his words.

"Mmh. Thanks." Beomgyu whined as he stretched his arms out again. His shirt rose slightly to reveal his stomach. Yeonjun gulped at the slight amount of skin showing.

"You look red. Are you sick?" laughed Beomgyu. Yeonjun's face was flushed red by the blood flowing through his body.

"No, I'm fine." Yeonjun held the sides of his face to calm himself.

"Why do you hate me?" Beomgyu asked, half asleep.

"I don't hate you. However, I don't exactly like you because we're competitors."

"You don't hate me? But you rubbed lip balm all over my face the first day we met. You almost tripped me twice." Beomgyu laughed.

"That was... I was just confused." Yeonjun ran a hand through his hair.

"I have to go. It's getting late, and the shows tomorrow." Beomgyu stood up from the bed and fixed his shirt.

"It's only 6 PM." Yeonjun followed the man toward the door.

"I need to prepare for the show. You as well," replied Beomgyu.

"I know. Good luck tomorrow!" Yeonjun patted his shoulder awkwardly.

"Good luck as well. My adversary."

"Ad..adversary?" Yeonjun tilted his head as the door closed shut.

The day of the show finally came. Everyone began piling inside the venue. One by one, they presented their guest passes and VIP badges.

The venue allowed over 300 special guests to come in and 1,000 live viewers. The special episode would be aired a week after the shooting.

Many fashion designers came in as newcomers and old-timers. A few news stations came as well, followed by recruiters for fashion brands.

"He's stunning." Chatter was heard in the background as Beomgyu walked past the crowd of people toward the main stage.

Yeonjun followed closely behind the younger.

"You're going on stage in 3!" Yelled the producer toward Yeonjun. He was first then followed by Beomgyu. They were revealing Beomgyu last so his identity would shock the crowd. No one knew the Daegu designer's face, until today.

Yeonjun felt his palms become sweaty as the time ticked slowly.

"Next is no other than last year's winner. Choi Yeonjun!" The presenter yelled through the microphone, and Yeonjun took a deep breath before entering the stage.

The lights flashed quickly around him, cameras being pointed from every direction.

He was careful to keep his focus on the stage to avoid any accidents.
Beomgyu watched from the stage, and he's an expert. It's obvious why he won all these years.

"Next runner up is a special guest from Daegu. Finally revealing his face for the first-ever time. Please welcome Choi Beomgyu!" The presenter yelled, and Beomgyu felt himself become nervous.
"Focus on the walkway. Look straight ahead; you'll be fine." Yeonjun whispered in his ear.

Beomgyu nodded as he walked toward the stage entrance. He was bombarded by the flashing lights and people cheering. It was feverish, and he never walked the stage, at least openly.

He tried to remain calm as he reached the end of the stage and the flashing lights went off.

"See! You did well." Yeonjun patted his back as he came back inside the stage curtains.

"Thanks."

The fashion show continued to go on. Models walked down the runway showing each person clothes they hand-picked from their fashion lines.

At the end of the night, everyone would vote for the winner. The votes were anonymous and counted before the end of the event.

As people voted, the contestants were greeting everyone who attended. Many people had questions about Beomgyu, and he tried to answer each of them.

"You came from Daegu. How different is it here?"

Beomgyu felt awkward looking into such big cameras but tried to answer honestly.
"It's much bigger than Daegu, and the competition is tenser; however, I had a wonderful time."

Yeonjun answered his questions, but his eyes kept returning toward a certain man a few inches away.

As much as I hate to say, I feel he wins this. The way he lights up being asked questions, the way he glows walking into the room. He's made for this. I think I've found someone who's outdone me.

Yeonjun slightly smiled at the sight of Beomgyu enjoying himself finally. I'm glad if he's delighted. It doesn't matter who wins here tonight.

Even if it isn't me.
