♡ Final chapter ♡

"Thank you to everyone who gathered to the annual Fashion show! This year we had amazing contestants and an amazing face reveal! We have counted to votes and will now reveal the winner!"

The contestants all entered the stage feeling nervous.
Beomgyu nervously bit his lip as he stood beside Yeonjun.

It was the first time Yeonjun became nervous at a show since his first one. Would I win? Or would he?

It doesn't matter to me this time. But why am I so nervous?

Beomgyu closed his eyes as the presenter began to open the letter with the winner's name.

"And the winner is!" He fumbled to open the letter and read the name out loud next.

"Choi!"

Both Yeonjun and Beomgyu knew it was one of them. They glanced at each other, and Yeonjun let out a small smile toward him with a thumb up.

"Choi Yeonjun! Congrats again for winning this year's show! Thank you to all our wonderful contestants we hope to see next year. Now, if Mr. Choi would give a few words!" Yeonjun felt himself have a bittersweet feeling as he walked forward. Beomgyu clapped for him along with the rest with a small smile. He was the prize winner, after all. What did I expect from no other than Choi Yeonjun?

Yeonjun held the trophy in his hands and a mic in the other.

"Ladies and gentleman. Thank you so much for your support these years and for another award. However this year I can't accept this award from you. There is someone who I see much potential in who I think deserves this more than me. This year I'll give this award away to Choi Beomgyu." Beomgyu slowly stopped his clapping and widened his eyes.

It's as if the time had stopped when he hears his words. Why is he giving the trophy to me?

Beomgyu walked forward slowly, and Yeonjun held out the trophy toward him.

"This year, please recognize Choi Beomgyu as your winner. I'll accept second place this time! I'll surely take back this trophy next year." Yeonjun handed him the trophy, and Beomgyu held it in his hands.

"After all, he is my adversary." Yeonjun finished his speech just like that.
Everyone stood up, clapping for the two and even the contestants were shocked at Yeonjun's actions.

Beomgyu smiled brightly at Yeonjun.

"Thank you." He mouthed as the crowd cheered loudly for the two.

-

The Venue was being cleaned as the show ended.
Beomgyu stared at the trophy in his hands as he fought his tears. I'm thankful I can bring this back home even if I didn't officially win. I won against Yeonjun; that's an achievement itself. Yeonjun himself gave an award.

"Hey. Did I make you cry?" Yeonjun laughed.

"No!" Beomgyu laughed as he sniffled.

"I'll give you the trophy this time. But next time, I'll surely take it back." Yeonjun winked.

"Tch, as if! I'm keeping this." Beomgyu held it against his chest.

"Is that so? We will see next year."

"I'm a bit sad I have to go back to Daegu later, but I have something to bring back." Beomgyu eyed the trophy in love.

"Take care of it well. I'm lending it to you." Yeonjun patted his shoulder.

"Come here." Beomgyu opened his arms and hugged the opposite tightly.

"A hug? Should you hug your enemy?" Yeonjun laughed as he tightly hugged the other back.
"We're not enemies until next year!" Beomgyu protested.

"Should I visit Daegu this year?" Yeonjun pondered out loud.

"You should. You'll be shown it's more than just farmland." Beomgyu scoffed.

"Sorry." Laughed Yeonjun.

"You're leaving in three hours?" Yeonjun asked, feeling disappointed.
"I have to return."

"Why don't you come back to Seoul in a few months? I'll gladly welcome you. I can teach you a thing or two about fashion." Winked Yeonjun.
"Yeah, are you flirting with me?" Beomgyu scooted backward jokingly.

"And if I am?" Yeonjun blurted out by accident.

"I knew it!" Beomgyu pointed as he left out a burst of loud laughter.

"Stop laughing!" Yeonjun stuttered as his ears become red.

"Don't worry. You won't be seeing the last of me anytime soon." Beomgyu winked.

"I'll look forward to seeing a lot more of you then."

"I have to get going now and pack my things." Beomgyu regretfully says.

"Why don't I help you? I'll send you off."

-

Yeonjun helped Beomgyu pack his things tightly in his suitcase.

"Thanks again. For everything. Maybe you're more than such a dick."  Beomgyu chuckled.

"Thanks, and Maybe you aren't a woman." Yeonjun joked.

"Ah, this again. I am a man!" Beomgyu stomped his foot, holding the suitcase.

"I know, I know. I like seeing you upset." Yeonjun teased.

"Ah, seriously. I should go to the airport now."

"Before you leave. Wait." Yeonjun grabbed his arm lightly.

"Yes?"

"Take care of my trophy. Don't forget to revisit me. You better text me every day when I ask about my trophy!"

"Is the trophy your kid?"

"It's our kid. Take care of it! I'll pick him back up next year."

"Sure. He's staying with me, though." Beomgyu joked.

"One more thing before you go."

Yeonjun took a few steps closer, inching closer toward Beomgyu's face.

He placed a kiss lightly on his lips, and Beomgyu was in disbelief. He blinked his eyes a couple of times to process the event. Yeonjun felt blood rush to his ears again, and he couldn't stop smiling like an idiot.

"Keep this too. I'll return to take it back. after all, we are adversaries."
