I just wanted to say that this book was inspired by the anime Given as I had many questions about Yuki and his love for Mafuyu (my favorite cinnamon roll) after I saw it. I felt compelled to write a fanfic for what could've happened if Yuki was still alive mainly for myself bc I need the closure of knowing the ending... LOL
This fan fiction is in no way saying that the original work is trash because it's not, it's so amazing that I cried many times reading the Manga & watching the anime. What I am saying is that this was inspired from the original storyline, so if you wanna pretend this book was written in an alternative universe with a similar storyline (without Yuki dying LOL) then feel free to do so.
It's been a hot minute since I wrote a fanfic so please be kind. Feel free to comment as you read along bc it really helps me with writers block and continuing the story.
