Explanation

There is nothing to explain......
This story is kinda cliché...

Anyway, Namjoon is brought up in a family who pressurised him a lot. His family wanted him to be perfect and Namjoon felt suffocated. But his family punished him for whatever small mistake he did which led him to think he's not perfect in others' eyes. The only thing which brought some relief to Namjoon was Seokjin.
However, just like in The Truth Untold he was scared to face the person he admire because he never loved himself.
He was insecure.

Seokjin however was mute and he did admire Namjoon. But Namjoon never noticed it just like Seokjin never noticed Namjoon's admiration towards him. He was the oldest among his friends and he was often like a dad figure to the younger ones.

And how did Seokjin find Namjoon?

Jimin is the class president. He recognized Namjoon's handwriting because (duh! Namjoon's the topper)
And they asked the college office about Namjoon's whereabouts. And somehow they came to know that he was admitted. Do you remember Jin topping Chemistry? Eggs act Lee.....

That's how Joon's mom did you know what and he ended up in the hospital.

Joon's sister is also mute so he can understand what Seokjin goes through.
