The Tent

It was 6 o'clock in the morning. I could hear y/n yelling at me to wake up for school, I groaned and got up.

I was getting changed while the others were waiting for me to eat breakfast. "Hurry up!!" Y/n called. I didn't bother to put my hair up I just brushed it quickly and left it down then got into my school uniform.

We left for school. But school started later today so we had some spare time on our hands. Tohru insisted we went for a walk in the woods, we both agreed. The others were walked ahead of me while I was walking behind.  I could hear y/n saying "you're so slow" sarcastically of course. While walking we found a house in the woods, creepy am I right?

Those airheads decided to get closer to the house, I was standing behind them still, seemed like a good idea to stay a bit back. I kept looking around to see if anyone was near us I could feel eyes staring at me. Maybe I was just imagining it.

It was a nice looking house, pretty garden with flowers and stones/rocks. They had little zodiac animals painted on them such as the cat, rat, cow ect. We heard a mumbled voice and that left us extremely startled. Tohru jumped back in shock. We were just standing  there  awkwardly.

The man came out in a robe, he was kind of cute. "Hello is this your house?" I asked nicely.
He agreed and asked if we needed anything.
"No, your house is really pretty. My cousin was interested in those zodiac stones."

They smiled at  eachother  when another boy walked out of the house. It was a kid from our school, I could see tohru was certainly surprised but she seemed happy about it. "What are you doing here?" He asked all confused. "Sorry we didn't know you lived here we were just taking a Walk and I saw these beautiful zodiac stones" tohru said nervously then Apologised.

He offered for us to walk with him, we took up the offer. The other man waved goodbye as we made our way to school. Y/n asked if that was yukis father. "No that's just my cousin he lives with me" yuki replied. Tohru was just rambling on about random stuff, y/n and I were kind of just tagging along with them.

About 15 minutes later we arrived at school. Yuki and us went a different way into school so we waved by to him and walked off. As we walked into the building we could see the girls obsessed with yuki giving us death stares. They are pretty crazy, the obsession is a bit unhealthy if you ask me.

As we sat down, the 4 of them walked up to us with their arms crossed and said in a demanding voice "what are YOU doing walking with yuki?!" We just ignored them, it was pretty funny to see their angry faces. I asked tohru if she had work today, she nodded.

I felt so uncomfortable, they were still standing there waiting for an answer. It wasn't gonna happen, I giggled a bit and stood up. I gripped tohrus arm pulling her along to the other side. She was stuttering in complete shock.

They were about to follow us until our friends arrived. I guess people are scared of hana. She can feels waves and people just find her terrifying. We smiled at eachother and we were about to talk until class started, we took our seats.

*later on in the day*
I had been on my shift at work for about two hours after school. As I got home I was shocked to see that tohru wasn't there. I was looking around but couldn't see her, on the floor I saw a note. The wind must have blown it. She claims to have been at the sohmas to hang out. That kind of angered me. Infact I was a bit jealous. I wish she would have waited for me to come home first. I stomped in anger when I heard a little crack.

A rock fell and I looked up, the cliff infront of us was going to fall! I quickly grabbed the picture of tohrus mother and anything we would need that is important. I was trying my best to try take out the tent but couldn't if I didn't hurry I would be crushed, I could see it was about to fall so I rushed out of sight just a bit to the side. Our home was gone, again.

A let a sigh out, looking at the mess, wondering what to do. How would I break the to her? She'll be crushed. I heard a little screech, it was tohru.

She was on the ground digging for her picture of her mum. "MUM" she kept yelling. The two other boys had followed her, they looked concerned I was kind of just standing there like I didn't exist.

Tohru had finally seen me and stopped whining. She ran up to me and gave me a tight hug, which nearly knocked me over. God that girl is surprisingly strong. She looked at me with sad eyes, I told her I had some of our stuff, including her mother's picture.

The man cut in our conversation and offered we would stay with him for the night. Tohru being her, was stuttering again. "N-no that's fine!! We wouldn't wanna trouble you!" I cut in between her and said we would take up the offer. "Thank you! We will leave tomorrow morning." Tohru looked kind of upset about it but she knew we needed it.

We got back to their house. The man introduced himself. "I'm shigure nice to meet you! And you are?"
We introduced ourselves and he led us upstairs. It was a nice house but Uhm, just a bit messy. By a bit I mean very, there was a lot of junk. Me and tohru took turns having showers, and they gave us some clothes to wear, since they were theirs they were very oversized but comfortable. I said "thank you" again and "goodbight" then we went off to sleep.
