As I wake up and get ready 2 hours earlier for school because coach called me last night ,And said she wanted to meet ,I hope she's not trying to pressure me to get back into basketball.

*At school*
As I pull up to the school I grab my McDonald's bag and go inside. As I'm walking into coaches office. I see melo sitting down , I'm sorry I can come back later I say to coach. No come in summer coach says, as I walk in I see the men's coach also. Good morning I say greeting everyone. I want to say right now since summers here I will be stepping down as coach here meaning coach jj will be now the girls and guys coach, coach says. Yes so for us to win state this year we are going need you back on this team summer jj says to me. I'm not sure I say just looking at my shoes. Cmon you can get in a good college and everything your a great player summer jj says making everyone agree except melo who's just looking at his phone. But until your ready y'all are dismissed but the games after school summer be there if you want a chance at success jj says. What you think I should do I ask melo making him just look away and walk to his friends. Damn I feel bad. As I walk to my first class cat pulls me the opposite direction.

Ain't this some shit I say looking at the picture it was him with some girls one of the girls looked familiar after I inspected the picture some more I realized one of the girls was the girl jay told me not to worry about men ain't shit. As I go to class I sneak to the back cause like always I'm late. As I sit down in class the teacher sees me. Summer late again we'll if you would've been on time you would've know there are now assigned seats go sit next to dawyane she says. Who's that mam I ask looking around. Dawyane raise your hand she says keeping her cold blue eyes on me. After I see him I go sit next to him. Hey I say getting my books. Wassup he says looking at me. Are you just going keep staring at me I say looking at him. Ain't nobody looking at you he says laughing. Mmm ok I say laughing.

Melo POV
You just going stare at her Kareem asks me. Nah I ain't even looking at her I'm trying pay attention to the teacher I say back. She got you whipped bro Isaiah says to me. Fr it hurt seeing summer laugh with all these other dudes acting like she don't give a fuck about me, but she know she's mine we've been together. Y'all shut the fuck up mind your business I say. Okay students partners are now being assigned Kareem and hazel Isaiah and cat, Melo and Summer. Y'all will have 3 weeks to finish this project get started the teacher says. As I look over at summer she looks nervous as she looks at me.

*After school*
Summer I yell to her. Yeah she says turning to me. Wait you got your uniform you playing today I ask her. Well I guess gotta make a name for myself she says rolling her eyes and walking into the gym. Summer when we going work on this project i ask her. Melo look I'll do it you don't gotta worry you don't even like homework she says angry.

Summers POV
After talking to melo I'm now angry he talks to me now, But ignored me for days. Summer you ready hazel says to me. Yeah I guess I say back to her, I loved playing the game of basketball angry it gave me more of a passion so I was ready for this game. She hasn't even practiced with us how are we supposed to win I hear angel whisper to cat. Don't worry about me I say going onto the court and stretching. As I game starts I'm still angry so after I catch the ball I go start to the basket throwing up a 3 point shot that I make of course. The whole crowd erupts with claps. As the game continues our team was losing I could tell our team chemistry was off balls were being turnover shots were missed we looked horrible. Catch the damn ball i yell to cat. Fuck you she yells back at me. Who you talking to I yell making the ref blow her whistle making me and cat be ejected out of the game.

*After the game*
I fucking hate you I say going up to cat. I'm tired of your bullshit she says taking her backpack off. Woah I hear melo and some other boys says coming to us. She's just mad cause her boyfriend broke up with up her and her friends dying cat says shrugging. After that my mind blurred all that I know what happened I looked down and saw blood on my knuckles and cat on the floor crying. As I look at her I feel myself being picked off the floor while tears stream down my face everything moved in slow motion. As I regroup I realize I'm in a car and I see melo talking to coach outside I try to leave but the car door is locked. I need to go I start whining. As melo looks back and sees me trying to open the door he says bye to coach and gets in the car. Chill he says stopping my hands. Melo stop let me go I wanna go home I say. I know where do you think imma take you he say sarcastically. Omg I yell and put my hands over my eyes while the tears sting my eyes. Summer it's okay melo says holding me tight. Jay broke up with me my dad just died, Alexa is dying because of a party I took her too and I lost you melo we were supposed to me best friend and I hurt you melo I say crying.

*At home *
Mom who's this I say wiping my face and noticing a guy on my coach. Why is your face red mi'amor were you crying she says looking at me. I'm fine I say lying. This is taye my mom says introducing me to him. Hello I say to the guy shaking his hand after my mom telling me that her and taye were dating I walked to my room and called Alexa it goes to voicemail. Hello Alexa I miss you I'm coming up there tomorrow I promise I love you bye  I say trying not to cry.
