Spongebob x Reader

You felt sad lately, your last partner left you. You decided it was time to move on, so you tried a dating app. You found a dating app called, "Fish in the Sea,' and decided to download it. You were swiping through every person there, and none of them really caught your eye... you then swiped over to find a yellow sponge, blue eyes, rosy cheeks, and a rather handsome smile. He was wearing a red tie, and brown formal shorts. You read his bio, he was a fry cook, and worked at your favorite restaurant, the Krusty Krab, no wonder he looked so familiar! You thought to yourself, he could be the man that you spent the rest of your life with. 

You clicked the message option at the top left of the screen. You were thinking of what to say. You could tell him that you found him attractive, or you could say a calm 'Hello'. You panicked, and decided to type :

"Hello, to be honest, i find you very attractive and i want to get to know you more."

You were panicked, you waited just staring at the screen, and thought about deleting your message about 5 times every minute. Then you saw the word 'seen' pop up under your message. You panic, hiding your face in your hands, laying the phone on the side of your bed that you were laying on. You watched as the three dots appeared on your screen, that meant he was typing. Your heart stopped as the typing stopped and a message appeared.

'Hello! I looked at your profile, and i find you quite attractive too, maybe we could meet up sometime?'

You squealed in excitement, and for a minute your whole life with this fish seemed to appear as a movie throughout your mind. You started typing, and again, had no idea what to say. You typed up something in a panic and just went with it.

'Sure! I'd love to meet up with you! At what place will we be meeting?'

The 'seen' bubble popped up after a few seconds. And then you watched as the suspenseful three dots appeared again. You waited a few seconds and then a message popped up. 

'Have you heard of the restaurant, 'Fancy!'?'

You thought for a second. You then remembered a restaurant that was a boat, in a bottle. You also remembered that the restaurant was very expensive, could he afford it? Your thoughts then got interrupted by the realization that you should probably reply.

'Yes that's perfect! What time?'

He started typing, and you started to feel nervous. You were imagining what would happen, what if you weren't wearing formal enough clothes? Would he care? About a million thoughts popped into your head. His message popped up, interrupting your thoughts once again. 

'Maybe  4pm?'

You thought again. Was this really happening? You started thinking about what you'd wear, what you would bring up in your conversations, and really anything there was to worry about. 

'Yes that is perfect, see you there!'

You turned your phone off. This really was happening, you've only about had a few messages, and you've fallen in love with him, how? You went to your closet and looked through all of your clothes, you had to look absolutely PERFECT. You put on your favorite formal shirt, and your favorite dress pants. You thought, you liked how you looked, but would he? You looked at the time, it was about 3:30. You decided to start driving there. 

You finally arrived, and started looking for him. You then spotted him walking. Did he not have a car? You walked over to him. He was wearing a black suit with a red bow tie. You thought he was a lot cuter than in the profile picture. He finally realized you walking towards him, and he smiled, you could tell he was about to say something. 

'Hi! I'm spongebob!'

His voice was quite squeaky, but you didn't care. You could see through his rectangle appearance, and his goofy laugh. You then looked down at him, you looked at his smile. You then looked at his blue sparkly eyes. You didn't care that he was short, you'd love him no matter what. You pushed through all of your invasive thoughts about this handsome sponge, and managed to respond.
